I jumped from spark to r6. First week not used to it. Over time you will love it.

It took me about 2-3 days for the transition from RXZ to R6. True, over time you'll get use to it. Don't blast when still in transition.

Your GPR thunder line is loud enough. Its actually a matter of preference, not much difference in performance though. Probably 1-3 bhp over stock exhaust, btw the louder you are the more prone you'll be pull over by the "patrol man" :faint:

The riding posture for yourself alright once you're used to it. My fiancé has problems for the pillion, as she terms it as uncomfy and suffering. I guess most sportsbikes are the same. Just my 2 cents.

Yup. It's actually preference and brand conscious. I would prefer either Akra or Termi though

The riding posture should not have be a problem for yourself. The pillion posture is one that you'll have to handle. My fiancé terms it as suffering and uncomfy.

 

I guess most race bikes are uncomfy in seating posture for pillion.

bro i more worse i just brought a bike from them ride a few days got extra sounds then i bring back to them they say "its like that one its the what cluth problem"...they don't repair for me..so i bring to other shops ask them to check they say its con rod bearing i saw it with my own eyes...i call i***** back they say they can't help cause as long as the bike can move and never stall engine they would't repair it...then i give them my quatation from the shop i repair total cost $1600 they say once u open a screw from other bike shops consider no warranty already...i so pissed off...i'm same like u buy in a rash act..so regret..i've been argue with them for 2 hours include on phone 3 of them shoot me one person...

But sound wise no diff? Just end can. Between my thunderline and akra or termi. I don't want decat or change midpipe. TP will say it's illegal. As for full system,I have no money. Hahaha. Still have to do mapping. I don't track. Just for leisure riding.

Well can add me to the list i stay in the north-east, hougang.

 

There's another r6 2010 model in my undergound car park with termi pipe; blue and white scheme. I'm the red 08 r6 with santander logos.

I ride it to my workplace near raffles place mon to fri. Its a ***** cos i can't squeeze like the smaller bikes and it gets painfully hot during afternoons. But i'm pretty used to it. Too bad i'll be moving to harbourfront end of the year.

 

I think if you maintain the bike regularly and change the wear and tear parts the bike should serve. Remember to WOT the r6 once in awhile - the bike is meant to be ridden hard.

ya... for me... b4 i buy my bike there i told this guy i still got installment at other shop. then he say early settlement fee he pay. at most 500 only he said.. i told him i think its more than 500.. but he keep saying confirm 500 nia not more than tat..

 

after a mth ask me go pay full amt with other bike shop.. and the penalty is 800... i called him back and u guess wat he told me? he said he already pay 500 for me already cannot expect him to pay the other 300 ma...

 

this is one thing..

 

another thing.. buy bike no IU have to buy a new one myself...

 

my pillion seat after 1 mth plus still haven give me....

 

conclusion.. dun go this shop.. trust me new southern motor is better than this shop

Yeah sloved spend me 1.6k..when u on then off throttle it come out a sound like loose screw..
