Didnt knoe there is a STREET Triple.. all along i tot it was just 1 Speed Triple... muahahaa

 

nothing great on a z1... seem like a common bike when cross over to malaysia..bike look so so to me.. doesnt look funky cept the 07 model onwards

Oh ok .. the Street Triple 675 was out in 2007 but it was meant to be for 2008. This year they have the Street Triple R (with better components & higher price). The engine is from the Daytona 675. It's the best of both worlds (Speed Triple and Daytona) ..

 

What .. Z1000 is dam stylo if you add the right belly pan and radiator covers, and those 4 golden pipes are killers!! I still love the way the bike looks (pre-2007 models).

i guess the CB1000R will also be a rare bike on the road..even for a honda..which is good thing..naked bike or exclusive bike like ours should be rare species on the raod..too many of us will make us a commuting bike..hahahah

Hehe I always hear that Kawasaki bikes are raw and hard. But I thought inline4 should be smoother than V-twins and inline3 no matter what? I cannot confirm because I've never ridden a Z1000 before.

 

Maybe have to get used to it and go with the flow of the bike. I wasn't very comfortable with my inline3 in the beginning too. But now I've learned how to better control it. Don't force it, go with the flow ... hehehe ..

 

As for technical advice, I can't provide any because I'm not an expert. Maybe loading a different fuel map for the bike will help? The new map might tame the throttle response by delaying the throttle by mini-seconds, so that you won't feel a sudden jerk when opening the throttle.

 

Cannot talk too much about Z1000 here. This is supposed to be a CB1000R thread
