hello all.

my K is leaking some kinda oil which i presume to be eo due to a fall a few days back. i just came back from scouring my area's bike shops and they quoted me 150-170 to change 2 bearings, gasket, and some kind of washer (sorry for my inaccurate/vague info, imma noob and the mechanics who speak bits and pieces of english doesnt help me in understanding whats wrong either)

is it a reasonable price? or are there any other workshops you guys know of? ive read previous posts and a few workshops was named, ie AHM, chia heng etc. just need some confirmation. thanks in advance =]

The nearest and the best is at the industrial estate area along Woodlands Rd. Look for Jong Seng Motor.

Look wise, make it as retro as possible. Either that or make it the army style in matt green. Depends on your colour liking too. :thumb:

It's the original paint that makes it look ah pek. Change to round meter, round headlight and remove box if these are on your bike. The rest is all about the colour and paint work scheme. :thumb:

Mine will be lambo orange with black stripes from from to rear. Unfortunately not out yet... still in workshop. Chassis, engine, parts all apart... Till now only the main chassis is spray to gloss black.

Don't copy my colour scheme har...

MMM... 1 less K owner... mm anyway.. i went to Hua Chin @ batok to ask for the redoing of the wiring and they quote me 200.. He told me he will change everything.. but I dont know if the everything includes the coil inside the engine tat side or not...

also i asked several questions..

Overhaul bike --- 500

Paint work [chasis n tank and the side cover] -- 300

Its an estimation only.. so dont blame me for the mistakes! heh

It could be the drum brakes are adjusted too tight. Drum brakes need more free play.

Chassis is the main "bone" of the bike.

I was looking at one K that has a square silver box (for my upcoming S) - but v v v v ex. Cost about $500. The one that desert scramblers like to install.
