Why do someone need to higher the wattage? How bright do u want yr lights to be?

Normally, we see helmet cushion/sponge black colour right but is there any other colour other than black?

 

Yes of coz got many colour. Yellow, white, blue, red.....etc. U ask the person first lah whether have the colour u desire.

Bad for wirings and coil as it will draw more current to support the bulb.

Bear, i asked Joon Seng apeks the other day and according to them, the noises are ok. My K also got tat same sound your bike the other day at >80km/h. He tested my bike, reved like crazy till the whole ground shoke, literally. He said my piston wont jam, and its ok.

 

I dun know true or not lah but according to him, our piston not the ori. RXK piston so it tend to expand (kembang) a bit. I quote from him, not from my own mouth. And i ask him, wont it scratch the blok or watever and he said no. If want to change to ori RXK piston, he said have to change blok all and cost ard $400. Jb got this service or not. I dun mind go change, spare tat $$$ a bit and for a lifetime, no problem.

 

So good people of the forum, I just overhauled my engine like 3-4 mths ago. It used to be a smooth ride even up to >120km/h. Only recently my bike vbrate like crazy even at 70km/h. That when I blame the SPC EO, so its my bad. Its nt the EO.

 

No smooth anymore and I dun like. And at >80km/h it'll start make noises and the vibration, i tell u like getting massage from massage chair lah! I went to my mech and he tune the carb and all. So now a bit better but still not smooth and got tat sound. Any opinion on this matter?

Boys... Actually ive been happy scouting for those stuff at jurong scrapyard... You wont believe the stuff the have there... Like almost anything they have. It's a bike breaker, meaning they take scrap bikes and remove all the parts and store them together... But u must be like pasar aunty like that scrutinize and bargain to find the best deals...

Before that using phantom headlight, then bought a 7inch Honda custom250 headlight in anticipation for this cafe fairing. Fairing costs $140

Ah lah... Seee, SPC no problem one... I use, very good! infact i kinda regret buying a bottle of bel ray 2t from msia, I count count, SPC 2t is the cheapest good quality u can get easily...

 

The sound is it a scratching sound? I get that too... I think it's the rings fluttering or something...? I try to ignore it even thou it's kinda annoying. I'm using an aftermarket piston from LAB.

Bro, trust the ah peks. I been riding the same annoying sound for almost 1 yr since i change the block. So far no problem for me n the bike. Just remember to use gd 2t. Wat he said abt the original parts is true also, VERY EXPENSIVE.

Regarding JB, i dun noe. Maybe they use RXZ parts n non-original part also.

All RX Series are 2 Stroke.

Hahaha... Guess what? Sometimes i am very annoyed by the vibrations and noises... So what i do? WHACK it lo. Like bad kids needs to be taught a lesson, i whack it hard den later become more smooth already...

 

Anyway 2 strokes like to be ridden hard, i've had a friend who loved to ride fast and nv treat it with any care except proper 2t and service interval. Until one day.... The bike jam when he was going very fast, end up only need to change the rings and the piston, bore and plug looked lovely, no carbon, all nice chocolate brown.

Yeah, wat u say is true. U really really need to whack yr throttle on tis bike n not pamper it too much. Once the engine gets very very hot, then yr ride will be smooth. You will feel the difference especially after servicing.

so if i change the piston ring.. is it ok. The noise would be reduce or even cancel out? Is it worth it.

sab, my piston as i got the bike, had that very loud screeching sound, which i suspect are the rings being worn... it's a 0.50 overbore. Which probably meant it's not an original piston to begin with. So what i did was to goto LAB and buy a replacement. Actually wanted to get the rings for $10 only. But turns out Piston plus Rings Plus head copper gasket and base gasket all only $32. So i did that.

 

After that the sound is much quieter and alot of punch from the engine as it feels much refreshed! definitely restored power in my case.

 

After 1000kms later, the sound resurfaced but this time it's not so loud as the one before and it's still powerful compared to before.

 

HEck, I reckon you could change your pistons once a year!
