Hi.

Sorry for barging in here. I believe i know the Indian gentleman, it might have been me who pointed him at this forum but not sure, i have been asked for assistance by several Indian guys recently in regards to the Indian-spec RXZ (because i have posted on an Indian RX/RXZ forum and also through a Thai forum).

Matter of fact is, the Indian-spec RXZ is no more than an RX-K with somewhat different body parts. Engine, frame etc are pretty much 100% the same.

"Our" RXZ are based on RD 125 LC while Indian RXZ is based on RX-K respective RX-135 5-speed. Same engines.

So if you have any racing parts or accesories for RX-K ("RX-King") those will fit on Indian-spec RXZ. And that is what the guy is looking for.

By the way i'm running a bored-up block on one of my RXZ which accepts an RX-K piston.... gives me 150cc and, combined with a little porting job, the power of a real fury :)

Kind regards.....

Thanh

hi thanh. Yes you guided me to this forum. i have some reponses from few advertisers, and one will get back with quotation also. I am also getting very decent rates from Indonesia for this bike.

The indian RX family, RX100, RXG, rX135, RXZ etc, were all based on the first RXk, and then the later 1995 model RXK was launched in india in 2000 ( model 3KA6).

The funny thing is our srcaped RXK parts are sent/sold to the South Asian Region. I like to know why is there no parts for the Indian Model in India?

For what i compare, the Indian Model is consist of the RXK top/lower block n a RXZ enjine casing.

1 fact abt the Singapore RXK is the model here is more than 20 years old n most parts are made from Taiwan. Original parts r hard to come by n very expensive.

Yr friend shd try Ebaying for the Indonesian RX-King part which is very similiar to the Indian Model.

There are no parts here because these bikes were discontinued in 2004, because of emission issues, and the sales in the last 4 years ( 2000-2004 were not that much. To give you an idea, the RXK 5 speed( indian) sold only about 10-12k bikes.

I tried ebay, taiwan, indonesia, malaysia, phillipines, singapore everywhere. FOund some members on Kings club who are helping me out from indonesia.

This bike is special to me, because i learnt riding on this bike...

hey guys, anyone know where i can get an airbox for RXK? stock or aftermarket? Currently my K is without one and i heard it will not pass inspection(mine in April).

Also any good tires to recommend for the stock spokey rims? The ones that came with the bike i took over is getting hard and have little "cracks"

Thanks!

Hey guys, do hows the outing? Any pics? and congrats to rudy for his marriage. May GOd bless ur family and pray u have lotsa children and happy family. =)

Nice bike bro. Hope to see u in the coming outing. =)

Nice bike bro. Nice DIY paint work. And Welcome to the RX-Kakis family.

And finally,

TO my brethrens (old and new), I suggest an outing/meet-ups on the 6th Feb (Sat) or 7th Feb (Sun)? Mybe meet up at Arab St (Kampong Glam Cafe) or KTM then we ride out to Yishun dam. Then I got a project to do. I want to take pics of u and u bike and compile it to post in our RX-Kakis FB. Wat say you guys? SO dress to kill or just be yourself on that day. Clean ur bike and get it to tip-top cosmetic condition =). Wat say you guys!!

And also...

I want to re-spray my bike. Bear should know what I'm talking bout. But this time I was thinking we do it in the day time. Like we meet at 11am or so then we make use of the hot day so that the spray can dry faster. I suggesting, 21st Feb, Sunday. Bear amcam?! Open to all who wants to do something to their bike or come help or just to be there and be merry =)

Thank you and love u all....

nice la sab!! sounds like a plan! but this saturday and sunday dont think i can make it!! next week how about that?! give me time to prepare my humble steed!

Combining Yamaha's bulletproof reliability and the exciting sound, smell and performance of a two-stroke engine, the RX-135 is truly a legend in its own right.

thanx kurarensu!..the place i got my stuffs are the standard places...united, hee, ah boy...

mudguard (suppose u meant the front one) - from united ard 18 bucks and btw, tats a rx100 mudguard, rxk one is without the 2 spokes, thus lacks the classic look...ha, better still if u can find cg or yb00, longer and nicer

stanley taillamp is from hee, but tats the only piece he has. u can go to his shop and look up the ceiling where he hangs all his lights stuff, there are some wif potentials...

the headlights and meters are from suzuki gn125. :)

thx bro.. btw where is the hee?? i wanna make my bike new new dono where to start.. see ur bike so new makes me itchy..!!

btw my swingarm is rusty and e rust like all popping out.. any idea if new one cost cheaper or wut? lol.

hee motors is located at Hamilton Road, off lavendar street...swingarm rusty, can diy respray black if u wan, as i feel its not really a prominent area, if u can do without the bike, off course its better to let shop spray the swingarm, or even chrome it :)

new one i have no idea how much it is...u can try the scrapyard at tractor rd, last week i went, they still have...scrapyard stuff shd be quite cheap

as for where to start modding...its really up to ur preference, the rule of thumb thou is to ensure the functionality and reliabily ur bike is of gd standards b4 focusing on the comestic aspect of it...and oh ya..must have a theme and stick to it...ha..happy modding! :thumb:
