hi everyone. as i'm really new to the biking family.. dunno alot of things..

 

ytd went to this motor-tiam.. saw this FR plate de SP. like it alot. so ask the mech there for its price and stuffs. he led me into his office and offered to calculate for me.

 

he quoted me a price of $2300 for that SP. and $1000 for the COE renewal, cuz i tink FR plate de only left wif 2 years? its until dec 2009 i tink..

 

so total for the bike + COE renewal is $3300 without insaurance / interest as i'm getting the installment plan. for insaurance it was $588.

 

so wad eu guys think? is it worth for this bike? he offered a free paintjob and also change of the 'visor' infront of the bike.. seat too... and have some freebies like a helmet + a raincoat. hah. i really dunno whether its worth or not. i ask my frens they sae its rather reasonable? so i put a deposit liao. really hope i neva tio tock like a carrot on the chopping board =/

to TS: get a newer plate sp cos i dun think u will be sticking with it for more then a yr, especially if u have 2A after a yr. not worth the coe imo

1. pickup lose to a ktm200

2. 2stroke bike

3. uncle TP especially like to pull you over

4. all crash before

5. all kenna whacked jialat jialat by previous OWNERS

6. play drag at dam still have to brake before the humps waste time!

u like that sp alot? which part or whatever thing do you like it? a FR plate @ 2.3k is abit too high bro. u can easliy get one FT or FU at 2.3k. from there u can slowly do up ur bike. eg) if u like that fr plate paintwork, u can slowly save money and do it up.

too expensive. if possible, do not buy thru shops as they are the middleman who eats money between buyers and sellers. Buying online is still the best interest for buyers and sellers. ...But sellers has to be very honest.

I think you have been carroted. Why renew COE?? From my observation SP rider mostly will upgrade to 2A after a yr because they feel SP is too small in size.

 

The new paintwork, visor, raincoat helmet, seats, assuming it is new, valuation is $400 + the valuation of sp from open market is 1500 = $1900

 

you pay $3300... an addition of $1400 and still not sure whether the bike is in good shape?? whether will he honor his words.

Hmmm, confirm tio chop.. If you wan to COI (Carry on Installment) --> Correct me if i'm wrong.. keke... Just go to those bike shop or bank loan den pay off straight to the seller and transfer the name... That's what I heard.. ^_^ 3.3k realli too much...

It really depend on situation. Some bikes still on installment, u continue and pay a bit of cash, some need you to pay full cash, so you go and find your own loan company.... SP is old bike, should be no more installment.

the mistake u made is putting a deposit on the bike. u should haf not done that. its common for newbies to be too eager to buy a bike. take ur time in surveying other motorshops first..

 

IMO, 2.3k for a FR is chopped liao.. sorry to sound harsh.

deposit only if the bike is limited edition and you are worried that it will be taken, but for SP, every shop also sell so it doesn't matter.

I think what the uncle meant, if you buy I return you the deposit by deducting from the initial purchase price i think.

There's really no point asking now since you have paid a deposit. All u can do now is sulk over a lousy buy and live with it or forgo the deposit. Either way you have made the bike shop very happy.

 

Next time, ask before you make a decision, not after.

ah saw ur tickerfactory, u still haven't got ur 2B u put deposit le? u really very kanjiong. hope u learnt ur lesson. a year ago i paid 2.4k for FS but was cheated after i brought it to malaysia to check the internals. I will nvr buy from shop again. spent a bomb to overhaul in malaysia.
