hehe, just borrow a GPS phone from a friend will do, but reading the gps and trying top speed at the same time can be dangerous lo.

i'm using nokia 6110 navigator currently, can read my current speed very efficiently. Nokia N82, N95 have gps features as well.

GPS read speed by using satalite, more accurate than the speedo meter.

can just attach the GPS to your bike with a holder or hang the phone with a landyard to yourself.
