Max speed abt 155km/h

Fuel consumption abt 25km/l

Range 250km (plus some reserve. dare not try)

No problems so far, very reliable scooter except starting needs 3 tries in morning. Could be my plug.

Can confirm the boot is huge, can go NTUC to buy groceries. Comfort and weather protection is first class.

Acceleration is great. Tried pick up with Y125z (friendly), no problem beating it. Tried with Super4 too and leading till 130km/h. No disrespect to those bikes but just a friendly pick up test. Point is that its quite fun.

Downside is that its long and cannot fit into HDB parking bay but...

:bounce:

Haven't tried the max speed yet as I'm still doing my run-in. Taking my time with it actually. Only hit 2000K plus this week.

Fuel consumption-wise, I top it up about once a week when the fuel guage hits the red mark (about slightly less than 1/3 left) About 8litres each time. The fuel tank holds about 12.5litres actually.

As for DIY on the belt, read from various forums in UK and magazines that its a tough job as need to remove a lot of stuff and need certain tools. I'll bring it the the shop as i'm not pro nor have I even strip my bike before :p

Has anyone tried using the Denso Iradium plug for burgman? Those who use it seem to swear by it. :p

Dunno... maybe for a start we can organise a burg outing to kulai for makan? then later maybe to melaka and so forth? are you experience in riding up north? i'm a frequent traveller on 4 wheels but not 2 wheels.

depends really on whether you are looking for a brand new bike or second hand. i've asked around before i purchased mine. a brand new bike would cost roughly 12.5k to 13k. but i didn't buy it. instead, i bought a second hand burg ft plated year 2001 at 6.5k. very low milage and in very good condition. the figures quoted are for your reference and not exactly what you are going to get. just to help you.

why not ask scootburger for his bike? he is selling his if i remember reading it correctly on the forum somewhere.

good luck

any comments regarding the top speed of the burgman 400 & 650?

It's not the miles per hour you go; It's the smiles per mile you get
