bros, how to noe vtec1 whether the batt is low? is it adviseable to get a new batt when i jz took out the bike last week?

anyone here knows how to fix voltmeter? mine is autogauge the analog type. i bought from a forumer here whom says it is working condition so i just buy from him but when i fixed it up at shop i encounter this problem, the voltmeter lights up but the arrow doesn't move at all. msg back the person and he advises to sell it off at garage sale again and refuse to refund , which is something i wont do cos for wat sell ppl if u know its spoilt.

 

so anyone knows whether there is any shop or person who is good at electronic stuff who might know how to fix?

volt meter, diff to start, dim lights during idling. is ur choice.

i think its quite obvious he buy and found it not working and decided to sell lor.. for transparency sake i will say his nick here so tt he may defend himself lor. some more i buy from him for 22 dollars. if ppl want to buy at more he should haf sold it for more mah, lucky me iguess. the nick is "counterstrike"

yes trust. can no need test if is working but the product is faulty. he should refund. imo he is just a dishonest crap. his reputation only worth 22. so cheap. volt meter very easy to sell.

nvm la. just a reminder to ppl its best to haf the electrical thing show to u in frt of ur very eyes and uninstall in frt of ur eyes is the best way to be safe. now i just wanna know whether anyone know electronics or know shop tt can fix the autogauge. light haf but needle not moving one. any help from bros will be appreciated.

Was exiting AYE just now from corporation road towards keppel when out of nowhere, there is a long piece of wooden block in the middle of the road. It was at the last minute i saw that wood. No time to brake. I hit the wood at 80kph. My bike flew upwards- quite high- but lucky land on both wheels. So, i park at the shoulders to check my wheels. Front rim dented. Haiz...

 

Can go shop and knock back or not? Or have to change the rim? No puncture. And the dent is only on the right side of the rim.

Get it checked. There are bikeshops that offer to send your rims for metal pressing.

a pic of the damage would be useful.

if it does affect your performace, suggest you change it. hitting it back may brittle the durablity of the rim..check with a trusted shop and get advise from them.

Metal pressing will not make your ride any balance if the dent is quite serious. If you managed to press it back, just go for a wheel balancing. Make sure you take note if there is any air leak on your front tyre.

 

If dent too serious, i suggest to collect more red packets and source for 2nd hand rim liao

Im new to spec 1. ride it for jus 3 mths. My s4 vibrate at footrest when reaching 5.5k-6k rpm when on the road. CAnt seem to noe the problem. Vibrate harder at hgher rpm. Someone pls help me. thnx

Hi i just got a tribal tank bra for s4 and whenever it rains my pants would get wet even though ive just dry it with my cloth. Anyone got the same experience and how u overcome it? tks.

 

i got the same prob !! Normally after rain i will squeeze dry the side of the BRA before i mount the bike .. no choice !!

my vibration starts when travelling from 90 to 100km/h i tink its the tuning of the bike. as u guys noe VTEC opens at 6.5rpm power comes at 7.0rpm so i tink maybe the valve halfway open then vibrate... if not its the rubber at the valve spoil liao...

its the bagster tank bra ryte? i dun think chiong one got the tribal design. rain water come in from the fuel tank opening ryte and then absorbed inside? i think can go auntie shop (or somewhere ther) and ask for a cover with ur own design to put to cover the fuel tank cover area. lidat at least rain will not seep in so much and will look nicer also.

Change EO when you change new EO and clocked 5000km mileage with fully syn oil ... got many brands.. Choose maxima , Fluchs or Mutol . Use fully syn oil or semi syn up to you... semi syn usually clocked 3000km or more abit must change liao ....

 

Change oil filter every EO change or 2 EO change 1 oil filter up to you if you got money change every EO change...

 

Spark plug usually can clocked till 100k mileage but around 60 to 80k mileage can change liao

If the mileage in it hit 999 or 9999 will it go back to 0 or will carry on counting..?
