yup..sliders would be to best solution to rectify the vibration issue.

but will the protection be compromised? personally feels that crash guard gives more protection...

Can order thru Biketech 21 from SW-Motech. It cost about less than 100. Its good and look different from other bikes. Go to SW-Motech website to look for it.

previously, i had this 3 point crash bar installed. oso caused vibrations. then i found out that the anondised black 3 pt crash bar is for spec 3. not for spec 1 or 2. take out, no prob. so end up i get a slider instead. prob solved till bike sold. alternative is to use 2 point crash bar which dun look really good. but the 2 point mount on the frame itself so its 100% safe from vibrations.

for serious accident, i dun think the 3 point crash bar will save ur engine from damage. cos the crash bar is hollow bar. sometimes when drop, the bar may bend n touch the engine. there r a few cases of 3 pt crash bar bent when fall.

 

for sliders, oso cannot save the engine from a serious accident. it can save ur engine from a slow speed fall or bike drop. no prob. bike drop tested n proven, slider did the job so far.

 

ultimately, its up to individual to choose which protection to install for ur bike.

Checking what was the height did you order? Did you have any issues on the cables?
