Guys,

sorry if I'm wasting your time. Need to ask fellow riders something.

I have just changed my Deauville rear tyre (metzeler) for $220, and I was wondering if I have been conned.

The last time I changed my rear tyre was 3 years ago (Dunlop) for $160 only.

Thanks in advance for your views.

Ahhh, "normal" if you are young and dynamic...

I always get > 21km/l, but drive like an old uncle; ie. sensible for Singapore conditions :p

Total Body Weight + Load + Speed + Road condition + Bike condition + Other = ? Km / L

18Km/L to 22Km/L is still ok

As for me, after I come back from Malaysia I will get around 22km/L. but now around 19.8Km/L to 20.5Km/L.

Hi Hippo,

Might be your Body Weight increase affecting the result... So we need to plan some trip to Malaysia again to reduce your body weight by doing some exercise :D.

Had send my bike to a wkshop in the west to have my clutch o-ring oil seal replaced as pointed out by fellow bros that there was oil leak during the last meetup.

While unscrewing all the nuts on the clutch cover, the mech managed to unscrew all 14 nuts but he broke 1 of the nut into half and the 2nd half of the screw is stuck inside...

Next while unscrewin the 2 screws on the front brake pump to flush & renew the brake fluid, he again broke 1 of the screw and again the screw is broken into half and is stuck inside.

I was damn dulan with the way they handle the bike, the boss claimed that its becoz alot of my screws are corroded and its not becoz their mechs are rough in handlin customer's bike...

So the solution they gave was to apply gum on the parts with missing screws he say if wanna send the engine & brake pump for re-thread must leave bike there overnite & cost is abt $90 for both items...

I'm wondering if i were to leave it as it is, will the gum that they have applied last anot? And do u guys tink that its fair for me to be the one payin the cost for re-thread or instead it shd be the wkshop that is responsible for the cok up of their staff
