Planned a trip to Port Dickson then to Melaka yesterday with one of my riding buddy... turn out yesterday morning heavy downpour ... damn... But after looking at my program, nothing to do, so we went on the trip with our raincoat...

 

It was a underwear wet wet experiece ... haahaa ... socks also wet wet(even I wear Army "Kortex" boot) also no use. What is most shoik is riding under the moderate downpour and going against the wind at 130-140km/h ...

 

Anyway, we did not go to port dickson... but we just went ahead to Melaka town to do some sight seeing...

 

Melaka has changed alot since I last went there ...

Anyway, going back took us almost four hours from Melaka to Johor ... haha damn jammed ... even cars hogging on the side road ... went back to Johor to get my bike washed before heading back via 1st link.

 

Overall the trip is fun ... not too long(in term of distance 200km++) and not too short(good for speed thrill).

 

Hope someday the GSR Goonduuus will plan for a trip to Melaka so we can all go together ...(maybe next year if no one plan for it, I will try to organize one)

Grand Stealth Riders is nice.. and I like it too.

 

As for shop for custom design, there are two at Holiday Plaza which I often pop by to look for stickers ... I have made my own custom sticker there too and so far the stickers are very good. None of them have peeled off yet and colors stills nice and bright after so many washing. Most important, the stickers must be heat proof and weather proof. Do let me know if you guys want me to recce the pricing of the sticker, just pass me the design and dimension and I will ask them for it. Most likely

Sorry hor ... I am not a seasoned veteran yet... not that level to organise a group trip becos most of my trip up north is ride and explore and get lost then use GPS to find current location then move on ... that is why I usually will go with my buddy ... I only join big group as followers ...

 

It's not that I dun want to put the list up, I have other plans to travel further up ... probably to Thai .... then will revert back to shorter trips ... as I am a committed father, I cannot go touring all the time... if not will be labelled as lousy father... anyway, cut story short... I'm divorsed with two kids to take care ... finding time out for touring and scheduling my kids programmes when I am not around is not easy.

 

However, whoever is willing to plan a Melaka trip... I can assist him. Melaka is not so difficult to plan anyway. For us, it's just one non-stop riding from GP to Melaka town with speed average 130-150km/h we can reach Melaka within 2-3 hrs.

 

If anyone willing to wait... probably around end of Jan or early Feb, I can try to organise a "touch treeâ„¢" trip to Melaka.

Progressive bro ... dun have to travel so far to touch tree ... if Melaka "touch tree" is successful... my next plan will be Cameron "touch tea leaves" ...

 

How about it? If nothing goes wrong, I will try to come up for a detailed "course" for the trip to Melaka somewhere around end of Jan(Last weekend) or early Feb(First weekend)...

Itinerary : Set off in early morning(5-6am), reach by mid-morning(9-10am breakfast)...R&R at shopping till lunch... after lunch on foot around tourist attraction... rest and talk c.o.c.k till sunset(watch sunset at St. Paul lighthouse)... ride to Jonker Street(park outside) on foot around that area... 7-8pm set off back to JB for Bike wash ... 12-1am reach home and sleep.

 

Then March... will be Cameron "touch tea leaves" trip...

Itinerary : Yet to confirm... it's a long trip... take 2 days one night. At least 4 petrol stops. Longest Est. riding time = 4-6 hours (After KL along Ipoh stretch ...) Nothing much to do there, but enjoy the atmosphere there and relax.
