bro of the gsr club, just like to enquire about where to get a new GSR 400 and how much wld that be? Its the maintenance for this bike relatively okie compare to super 4?

 

U could check up Loois down at Ubi. Pricewise cant really say. Price of YEN go up and down. So i'd estimate its between 15-18k for a brand new 09 model. 14-16k for the 08 model.

 

As for maintenance, everything else is the same as super4. The only diff is that it uses bigger tyres. Means more expensive. BUT feel the shiokness of the corners... hehehe... Remember SLOW in FAST out....

01:45pm. MP of Kreta Ayer will hit the gong to mark the start of the convoy.

-I mean like they are well versed with this bike and not lyk they juz fix the bike with trial & errors...

 

What about engine crashbar...???

-which shop sell this...

-Which shop is reccomended & is it gonna take a day to fix...

Major servicing i would say the possible shops i would say is Planet Motor or Bikewerkz. Simple plugs and oil change i'd include Unique in the list also. Never sent my bike to Unique for major repairs so y not u try then tell us how

Unique Motor is GREATTTT.......... What Can I Say...This Shop Has Customer Service Quality,man...I Strongly encourage bikers to come down to kaki bukit autobay and look for unique motor...itz well reccomended... they pamper your bikes well... they got sytem management in handling customers bikes... i liked it a lot.. i juz replaced clutch cabel around $70, Got Slider also around $70,also bought K&N Filter.. they got like package for engine oil,spark plug,oil filter for juz around $400 plus good service..??? why not...

I bought the bike this year january... i always had this problem on gear 4..it tends to have a glitch. lyk dies a sec and ok after that...But now itz fixed at unique motors... juz bought new clutch cable... now smooth baby...

clutch cable at $70?? they quoted me $55 i run away already. went to another shop got it at $40..

by the way, replaced my chain and sprockets and the oil seals on the rear wheel. when the mechanic tried to install the speed sensor at the front sprocket area, he used the airgun to drive the allen bolt in and shattered the speed sensor into pieces. the boss came out and took his phone, ordered a new one. replaced it FOC. stuck in the shop for about an hour plus waiting for the new sensor to come.

 

anyway despite the mechanic breaking the part, i was quite pleased by their service. its much better than the ang moh balls carrier shop at alexandra village..

stock sprockets w/ rubber lining? or aftermarket?

 

seems like the stock sprocket w/ rubber lining cant be found according to what i read through so far.
