=( no space for rain coat.. any idea. how much does the new 400 abs version cost now OTR? rough gauge?

Bro, I just bought a 2007 GSR. Its very difficult if not impossible to find new GSR's in the market currently. I scouted through Bike Production at Serangoon, Guan Hoe and Loois. If lucky you will find used one's at BP and Looi's but they are not bringing new ones due to Yen exchange rate (according to them).

The estimated price to make the key how much? Cos i heard frm my friend that he spend $150 to duplicate the key. Not sure if he is telling the truth... That was way back in 2006/07...

I duplicated my key at the key shop beside Regina. $70. Does not look like the original key, i think the key was meant for car, but hey, it works, so i'm not complaining.

Thanks IvikaRazI, So in nutshell .. no point of going for

OWS 210 Engine Flush

• OWS 220 Engine Protector

• OWS 360 Gas Treatment

Engine Ice .. which probably Unique wants to recommend .. though not much of use. A normal Motul or stock would do the job just fine.

Morning Amigos .. it was quite a weekend

Finally DOne with servicing and with peace of mind. paid S$180 for the following

Motul 7100 fully synthetic EO

Suzuki original EO filter

Denso Iridium spark plug

Coolant topup .. hardly 50ml or so

K&N filter cleaned

===

Next step is to get battery replaced. Found that with engine on battery is at 11.8 which dosent sound too good.

following are the reading.

Wihtout Engine on --11.8

Engine Own-12.5

accelerated 14.4

Frnds, what are your recommendation fro battery .. do u think I should change it urgently .. as such I am not facing any starting issues.

If need to change which is a recommended one.

accelerated 14.4

This is not usual. It shouldn't jump until so high. Normally it should jump +-0.1 ~ +-0.5 from the value when engine is running. In your case, your "engine on" value is 12.5, so it shouldn't jumped until 14.4. Try to go to your bike shop to check your electrical wiring.

For me, the value is 11.3v without engine on. "Engine on" value is 13.7v~13.8v. Accelerate value will be constant at 13.8v.

Hey bro, where did you get the servicing done?

I know I am asking something that might be redundant as I have seen long discussions on the topic earlier. But looking for some concrete sum up and the subject is mirrors. My bike has a carbon fiber look aftermarket mirrors which is terrible at speeds over 70kmph. I read earlier that the stock S4 mirror or Suzuki mirror is better. Which one do you guys suggest and where would be the cheapest for me to get it replaced?

Also I am trying to find ERP mirror mount but have found it quite scarce (checked Unique and some shops at Lavender), any idea where I can get that as well?

From my experience, 11.8 is sufficient to start the engine. 11.8 tells me that the battery cannot keep so much charge anymore, like brand new. 11.6v is the minimum you can go. Any lower than that cannot crank engine. I had to jump start mine hahaha. Now on new batts...feels super good. With Ignition ON, I am getting above 12v.

When moving, it is normal to get 14.4 +/-. The motor's alternator is a strong one. Just monitor and if it goes beyond 15v, its consider overcharging, better check the bike.

My findings anyway. BTW my voltmeter is directly connected to the battery. If your connections is somewhere else, the readings might be lesser as the currents is already used up before reaching the volt meter. Hope you understand what I am trying to say hahahha.

So, so far so good.

Any recommendation for which battery would be best.

I really want to avoid any break down of bike .. so even if spend some $$ more .. is fine. But should be a no problem and good quality.
