Hi everyone.. I a new GSR400 rider. Just bought it 2 months ago. I had already drop my GSR 3 times due to my small size (around 50kg).. 1 time on left side and 2 times on right side with pillion.. =P

And the last drop on left side i broke my gear shift lever.. Anyone know which bike shop sure have gear shift lever replacement for GSR? i asked few bike shops and all said they don't have.. need to order.. btw my brake lever also bended.. =(

You have 3 choices......

1) Change to the original gear shift.

2) Change to an aftermarket gear shift.

3) Mod by drilling a hole and put a screw thru it.

1. You can try KS motors along jalan besar there or Guan Hoe the agent. Price not sure.

2. This method good if you have lots of money and dunno where to spend it on....Or you keeping the bike long.

3. Most mech will recommend this. But of course muz see situation.

Bikeshops are realizing that they can sell GSR400 at a higher price since there iz demand for it. Coz from the market situation the newest types are actually Super 4 or GSR400. Anyway take one that you are comfortably with the financial. You can still hang around with us for any outings.

Hi everyone,

I want to change my seat cover, does anyone know which shop offers this service?

The best is that I can make the same as the original GSR type, ie. Black + White(silver) around fuel tank.

If Some bro has done before, plz let me know the price as well?

Thanks in advance..

You can go to Eugene's Saddlery...I heard many satisfied reviews from there. Price is under $100, the last time I ask one of them. Maybe those that done recently can add further.

Once, the rear brake pedal on my babe was bent and it was not advisable to bend it back. So I went to KS motors to ask for the price of the OEM brake pedal was 70 plus?

However, even before I went KS, I went to Loois's and Guan Hoe. The dude at Loois said that it was quite cheap, at $110 or something like that as they took their stock from Guan Hoe. Similary what Guan Hoe told me was the parts are imported from Japan and are original parts that are that price.

I thought I could find a aftermarket alternative from our friendly Ah boy but pity his suppliers do not have the part available for our bikes. Ah boy told me he could get OEM parts but it would not come cheap and was it's at $65 so I went with the price and gotten an actual OEM Suzuki part as stated on the packaging of the brake pedal, it even comes with a part number. Kinda surprised me as Ah boy is not known for original stuffs.

I'll definitely check ah boy first before I go KS next. 2 of my favorite shops! Oh, for those making a trip to KS motors or Ah boy as these 2 shops are located in Jalan besar would mind doing me a favor?

I second that! Went to Eugene's after a month I got my babe as I find the seat is lacking in padding and sometimes my pillion tend to slides down toward me each time I brakes.

So I got him to change to an anti slip material, add more padding as well as level and heighten the pillion's spot and so far, after almost 2 year, I'm still damn happy with it and my pillion don't complain anymore, oh, my butt's felt like it's on luxury cruise on every long distance trip. All for a reasonable price of $75!
