So i have to buy 2 T10 bulbs right? is it easy to install? and will the mixture of yellow and white be nice? haha

I'm looking forward to that spectacle! =)

Anyway, LTA have a neutral stance towards white light. They just prefer to clamp down illegal exhaust mods. Been using white LEDs for more than 2 years and still going, never once have I been stopped about this issue by TP or LTA and those LEDs have not blown yet

Though, some of the bros here had bad experiences with white LEDs.

Actually got box true, makes the bike look not fierce a bit. But then again, i would prefer looking not fierce but still got power to outrun... then to have to carry helmet/bag while walking around shopping center or watching movie.

So yea, but maybe soon, i have a tank abg and all, but still find top box more convenient. =P

When's the next DIY session?

Coloured lights other than white or yellowish will get stopped. Seen before a couple of times where those cubs which installed coloured like red, green and blue was stopped by LTA ROVs and TP. Besides, if you are due for inspection, you won't pass it.

I gotten mine from....umm Equipment Extreme almost 2 years back.

Personally, I don't like the plastic-ky look as I prefer metallic looking boxes like those from H&B, something like what Razi posted. Though, side boxes would be my first choice if I have the moolah. However, if you wanna install the GIVI Maxia, you need to be comfortable with the design and seating of the box. To suit your taste and preferences.

Is there any meetup tmr????

Btw, if installed Yoshi or Leovince exchaust, is it cannot fit in H&B racks??

Those racks are able to fit on to the bike with Leovince exhaust as I've seen on Naz's bike before he sold it. I'm not too sure for Yoshi.

Another option you could go for is having a tank bag or a set of removable side pannies. I went for the latter option, though I wish to get a tank bag soon too.

Nice! Congratz on your latest acquisition. Though, if you don't mind me saying. Lighten your keyload? Remove the extra key. Better leave a dedicated motorcycle key.

That is what the guys @ Unique Motorsports told me too...Because last time could not start my bike and they said it was because of the keys. And after removing the USB drive, the bike started. Any idea on why? And yea, will remove the extra bling bling from the key.

Probably the device is interfering RFID transponder chip that is embedded inside the key when it is trying to interface with the immobilize. Preferably, attach a lanyard to your key too.

Are you missing screws from your IU mount too? If so, better get them replaced soon.

I think it meant the 2 T10 bulbs mounted above the headlight, also known as pole lights. Yeah, our bikes are using H4 bulbs as standard, 60/55W, 12V

Yeap, cannot fit. The racks need to be modified. I had side racks before on my stock exhausts and then changed to Leovince exhaust. Went to Seng Kwang for quotation and they qoute me $200(?) for modification.

Since i already had a Bagster tank bag, i decided to just sell away my box and racks.

got 1 question, i still have no storage on my bike yet. considering between side boxes or top case. what are your views? side boxes harder to squeeze through traffic right? top box looks like crap... HOW! ):

Side box depending on how large it is. I used to have H&B Junior 40L panniers. The boxes are wider than my handlebar. 30L should be slimmer and could have an easier time squeezing. But 30L side box cannot fit in a helmet.

Actually got box true, makes the bike look not fierce a bit. But then again, i would prefer looking not fierce but still got power to outrun... then to have to carry helmet/bag while walking around shopping center or watching movie.

When's the next DIY session?

Since selling off my boxes, I have relied on a bagster tankbag for my daily commuting to work. When going out, i carry a bicycle lock with me and loop the chain over the chin bar area of my fullface helmet and lock it to the pillion grab handle at the back of the bike.

Nice! How much did the RAM mount cost u? I have a similar set up:

I didnt use a RAM mount but used an Arkon SM032 waterproof smartphone holder. works great so far!

On a side note:

Great to have u back Allex (Lexanez)!

Ebay bro. Just do a search for arkon sm032. Paid about close to $30 SGD including shipping for it. Yup. Can charge, there is a small rubber cutout for u to insert the charging cable.

Can still use the phone even under the clear plastic screen, without gloves that is. When i'm using my gloves, the iphone's capacitive screen cant capture my input through the gloves and the plastic cover of the mount.

But there might just be a solution for that:

I haven gone into hacking my gloves, though, so im not sure if this will really work.

Nice, Ebay's pretty good for such stuffs. Mind if I have a look 1st when we meet up? Cause I don't really like the design from the picture but my perspective may change after a viewing?

Thanks for the information!

Both headlights and pole lights are pretty easy to DIY. Question is, do you wish to DIY?
