Hi guys,

Saw this thread and would like some recommendations.... I'm actually planning to get a brand new gsr400.... Can anyone of you guys recommend me a bike shop selling this bike at a reasonable price....

Thanks.

Yup, saw the mirrors that you have. Was wondering why is it red! Also, it's pretty rusted too...

Anyway don't get Koso. It has the same capabilities as the current mirrors you have. Hmm, I went for something pricier at Motoworld but it's not Rizoma! It's pretty good at high speed.

Could also go Unique Motors and check out prices of their mirrors. A guy here got a pair of mirrors for $80 from them and it looks good, according to him, it's reliable too.

i bought the koso mirrors with metal 'stalks' for $40/pair. no matter what still vibrates. but alot lesser than the plastic ones.

Hi, all. Just serviced my mileage 5000km GSR today. The mech pull a bit of slack from rear sprocket, few mm i think and told me sprocket and chain giving way. I broke so din change. Feeling puzzled as I seldom use my bike, I went to pull 3 diff bike and as expected all chain can pull few mm from the sprocket. Any advise?

Hi all, I just serviced my 5000km mileage GSR and the mech told me my sprocket and chain giving way. I did not change as I broke. Check the physical condition of both the chain and the sprocket. Is the chain rusted and there are kinks in the chain? Do the teeth of the sprocket look worn and bent?

Also, did the mechanic tighten the chain until it could not be tighten anymore?

Haha, Icon II again. Great stuffs.

Just go with any brand you want. For durability, go for hardened steel sprockets. For lightweight and/or colour, go for aluminium ones.

DIY probably on Sunday though

Going for shopping first to get the parts before DIY?

Damn! Such low lifers, hit and run. Glad that isn't any permanent damage. Reminds me of a VW that knocked down my bike and zoom off with its engine roaring! Infuriating!

Wahaha, no more oversleeping! Was really bushed that day.

Will be having a DIY on Saturday Morning from 10am onwards at Sengkang with Mmkbad then another possible DIY with Bone. Heh! More details coming!

Ab, I have the stuffs which I need already. Anything you might need?

Sounds shoddy. If the mechanic is able to lift the chain slightly above the sprocket then it is time to adjust and tighten unless it can't be adjusted anymore. How old is the chain? What is the mileage that this chain had gone through?
