I was 23 last year, with 4 years experience, paid $440 from NTUC in 2011. no claims before.

i find it quite expensive. am i being cheated? lol

Ya lor it is expensive...that is my comprehensive cover that time for my GSR400 hahah.

i am paying 900 + for my 2nd party, eh, i am 21 when i buy and 1 years of riding

It should be around that range. If you ride Honda S4 will be more. It might be because of more S4 on the roads and a lot of claims from that model of bike.

Hi fellows rider.

Anyone have stock mirror for our bike from 08 model and above for sale please?? Or can advise on where to buy and how much? =D

Along Jalan Besar there got one small shop on the right side before LAB, called Guan Hoe if i not mistaken. They are the original supplies part for Suzuki models.

Mirror OEM 1 side is 45, 2 mirrors 90, they do not do installation.

Nope bro. Sorry to correct but that's KS Motors. Guan Hoe Cheong, the dealer for Suzuki is located at Serangoon.

Anyway, why OEM mirrors when you can get a part of aftermarket ones for that price. Installing mirrors are easy enough, you need a size 14 wench to loosen the nut holding the mirror stems down.

Oh right, sorry for the confusion, it's KS motors correct... For all riders heading there there's a small porch area that you can stop safely in front of the store instead of on the side of the road. They basically carry all the parts for Suzuki model, for **** and giggles I actually asked the uncle whether he had screws for my bike, he just said wait, and literally got a whole box of OEM screws. Literally. They. Have. Everything.

Thanks for the correction.

Btw, any good place to find the after market mirrors? I went to Bike Lab/Production, both didn't have.

Actually my current one is aftermarket, it still vibrates at the 90-110 area. But not so bad you can't see what's behind you, just normal torquing.

Before you keep on changing from mirrors to mirrors, you must understand why the mirrors vibrates. The vibrations come from the engine itself. It is transferred to the handlebars. Since dampening the vibrations from the engine is expensive, an alternative is to lessen the vibrations from the handlebars themselves.

Then comes balancers. Some change to a more heavier ones. But one must take note that Resonance play apart here. If the handlebar don't vibrates at high speed, it will definitely vibrate at low speed. So one must actually find the right balance of both worlds. I did use the following and it does help a lot, at times there will be vibrations which cannot be 'killed' off easily.

There are anti-vibration bars. They are expensive.

If still searching only for mirrors, try to get those with rubber ends that might absorb the vibrations. To take note that a longer mirror arm will makes the vibrations less. Thats my science finding....hahahah

To conclude what they say, it might help. One did say Aluminium also helps with vibes reduction. Still will not kill of the vibes at all RPM.

Razi, do you mean vibranators? I did ordered them 2 years back and it's pretty alright. Expensive though.

Foam, reminds me of bar snake.

Anyway, I found out that lighter mirrors will turn out worse at higher rpms
