Dear bros,

gonna sell my beloved gsr for a car instead due to family commitments My question is for direct sales what kind of paper works should be expected? What are the safety points I should take note from letting the new buyer test ride the bike to the finance part to legal paperwork parts. Can gsrians bros / sexperts hehe/ and bike enthusiast out there spare me some advices please Many Thanks!

Went to Vicom Inspection Centre (Changi), 20 Changi North Crescent 499613. The guys there quite relaxed good place to go.

Direct sales both parties go to LTA and do the trasfer.

can draft a simple agreement stating u sold the bike for a certain amount and get both parties to sign other than that nothing much.

 

for the bike riding part just make sure they dont go on main roads, already have the proper licence and that they are wearing helmet.

Well, a word of advice. If you can't afford it, don't go for it. If you want it, save up.

 

Besides, your bike don't need a LV or Yoshi exhaust to function. It does well enough with the stock exhaust.

Coz there are differences for how the questions will be interpreted.

 

If you mean Insurance Company, I do believe NTUC is one of the best choices. Most of the companies are cheap but when come to claiming, it will be a tedious process. I guess most of us are with NTUC. If you have not claim or being claimed on your insurance before, there should be NCD (No Claim Discount). This would mean you pay less.

 

If you mean Type of Motor Insurance, it would me whether you would want to take [Third Party], [Third Party, Fire & Theft] or [Comprehensive] Insurance coverage.

 

From what you describe (with your age), I believe it is a Third Party Insurance Coverage. This would mean, if you bike got stolen or burnt, cannot claim from insurance. Do correct me if I am wrong. My GSR400 was $500 for a comprehensive coverage last year. Then again, cannot compare apple to apple due to age & loyalty. hahah.
