Nope, nothing done to your paintwork. Except, there might be fibre traces around the working area but CrossOver will clean it up for ya.

Hey bro! It's normal. 80-87 is ok.. Mine sometimes until 97 during hot days.. And stationary at traffic light. At that temp, the fan will start spinning Liao. And you can see slowly it's decreasing...

Don't worry k!

Hi bro mine increase to 108 is that too hot when stationary. Is that ok? Pls help.2

If yours is a 600cc version, it could be fine on a very hot day. BUT if it keeps on at that temperature, either, Temp Sensor spoil, Coolant never change (so please change), or fan not working. Most of the nakes Suzuki bikes never exceed 100 degrees. Even on the 750cc.

Thanks for you reply, but how do we know when the fan starts working? Can we feel it/hear it? Because when I hit around 88 its still rising :/ 1 thing I'm afraid of is the fan is not working on my bike :/

Actually you can hear the fan spinning at the traffic light, and you can feel hot wind blowing at your right leg.

If you're at the traffic light, put you hand at the right side of the engine, you can feel hot air blowing.

88 degrees is really ok. You wanna reach 97 degrees, you do alot of engine breaking, and high revs. even at short distance, you rev all the way to 10k, then before reaching next traffic, engine brake all the way. Confirm guarantee will hit 97. Then slowly, you see the temp will decrease to 88 odd.

My bike never reach above 100 degrees though. Initially when I bought the bike, it has reach 105 before. So I changed coolant to Engine Ice, and now, never reach 100 since.

thanks for clarifying! Guess I'll notice the heat as time goes by, anyway gsr4 need 3 or 4 bottle of coolant?

No worries. Next week, there's meet up too!

Predator mask can be bought from Equipment Extreme at Depot road, opposite the place where you go to register for NS or something.

If not, there's a seller on top, Horacio is selling his 2nd hand.

Thanks for the reply bro. I just bought my bike and been using it for a week. Will go back to shop to get it fixed. The fan works but it doesn't decrease the temp n will shoot to over 105 at traffic light. But will decrease quite fastwhen moving. Thanks bro will get it checked tho. Hope fully simple fix.
