I saw a gsr the other, i am fascinated with the renthal fat bar that the owner has installed, wandering how much would it cost, do they need any additional parts to install i realised that the handlebar holder seems different too.

Hey bro from the feedbacks of our senior gsr rider, our bike don't need such an expensive coolant. Normal will do. Btw, I'm also driving gen 2, r u in gen2 club ?

HI guys, i just passed my 2A, and looking for a gsr400 rather eagerly lolz.

However, do u guys suggest that i wait till class 2 then get a gsr750/ other options?

One thing is that if i get a gsr400, i doubt i'll be taking class 2, but if i get class 2, then its another story altogether i guess.

Anybody got lobang for 2nd hand gsr400 for sale lol?

whats the difference between the 2006 and 2008 model? i went viewing a GSR400 the other day and my goodness, it was awesome!

By the way, whats the FC for the gsr400 like? i heard EO must use 3.5 bottles, so many?!

is it really like what everyone says, its a 600cc scaled down, hence it will be more heavy in consumption for everything? FC,EO, oil filter, etc?

Check out 2nd hand sale in the used bike sale section.

Whether you should stick to class 2A or class 2, it is entirely up to you. However, might I suggest that if you are just gonna get a class 2A for one year, don't get a GSR. Get a Version S or something cheaper.

2006 and 2008 is purely cosmetic and that the mirror design has changed for the better. No big deal. However, the big deal comes in only after 2009, which the engine is tuned for higher horsepower and torque.

The engine oil requirements for the GSR 400 is 3.2L without change of Oil Filter and 3.4L with change. That also apply to S4 and its variants. XJR, however only need 2L worth of Engine Oil.

The GSR400 shares the same frame and almost everything except essential engine components and some cosmetic differences as the GSR 600.

My current fuel consumption on the GSR 400 ranges from 21 to 22KM/L.

Hope that will suffice as your required answer.

thank you very much for your input bro!

hmm im currently riding a phantom and thinking of doing an upgrade. perhaps if insurance price will drop because of age, i'll get a class 2 next year. only thing is that the price of the class 2 license is really expensive, due to the price hike and hard-to-pass tests.

The gsr750 looks really awesome, more fierce and sharper than the 400. the GSR in the picture is yours? wow it looks really sleek.

yea i tried searching the 2nd hand section but no luck sian.

do they still sell new gsr400? OTR for 18k?

I used to ride Phantom too. Was a great bike but wanna have more power.

Well, if Class 2 is too expensive for you then expect the price and maintenance of a class 2 bike to be higher than class 2A too. Though, for the GSR 750, you can seek Razi's input.

Yeah, that GSR is mine, thanks.

Mmm, there are currently a few GSR on sale and I'm thinking of putting mine there soon too.

Here's one.

http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php/362198-Gsr-400-for-sale!!not-asking-for-any-cash!!

No idea whether Breadpower's GSR is still on sale, his GSR looks good too.

Yeah, you can ask Loois or Mah Motors to parallel import one in but be prepared to pay in excess of 19k which is not really worth the price.

Hi guys, quick question. Do we have to remove the air cleaner box to reach the fast idle screw?

Why would you wanna access the fast idling anyway?

Today I just went to JB to get a cheap heavy bar balancer from a shop that some of you did the side full fairings (I think) cuz the lady boss was asking me about it. Really satisfied with the balancer as it reduced vibrations alot!

And best of all, the shop accepts SGD!

It's a brand less balancer, the only reason why I bought it is because it's heavier than those usual balancer you find in JB.

anyway the shop is called X-Performance, quite ulu, directly opposite of AGL, they are 3 shops merged together, accessories, main shop and workshop.
