i'm thinking of upgrading, so would like to listen to some views. i'm lazy to read through the 300+ pages to search, so hope someone can enlighten me.

 

How is the fuel consumption for GSR600?

 

What are the main problems for the latest model?

 

Insurance price? i'm 27 this year.

do refer to 281 n 282 for more info on gsr. so far so good, no problem. the wear n tear parts r all the same. only a handful is different. fuel consumption? wildcard had answered u!!

 

Fuel i managed abt 315km full tank. After that my younger bro has to come to my rescue. Muahahaha. Dun think that its very bad mileage dude compared to super 4. We jus have smaller tanks therefore cut on weight. My insurance for TPFT is abt 680+ for a 26yr old. Wait till 28 lah. Cheaper then. U would fall into a new category of LAU JIAO riders even thou i feel its crap. Jus cos of age its cheaper. Shld be cheaper due to experience on bike. Funny system.

 

I'm on the 06 model. Dun have any frens on the newer models so i can't comment. I doubt there be any major probs as the newer models are always a revision of the older. Oh BTW. It can beat most 600cc out there on the short run. U lose out big time on the long run. Hahahah.

i ever tried 330. pump in 15L. we have smaller tanks n thats y we need to top up fuel more frequently compared to the 18L S4 tank. FC is almost the same but i feel gsr can get a better fc due to efi.

Yo bro, Just met ya in the lift. I'm riding the red bike. I still have no freaking idea who's riding the black one with the nice plate number. Nice to meet ya dude. U said u got the ABS bike? Feel any diff compared to normal?? Judging from what i see u riding earlier. U gotta be careful with your GSR. Its lower and heavier. COG shifts when banking. Practice slow in and fast out. Else u regret it. Some may find the ABS as a good thing. I find it an extra burden. Auto Buang System. Safe riding dude!

Should also allow to accumulate the NCD to 55%( car insurance) instead of capping at the present 20% too!

I'm organizing an outing on the evening of Good Friday.
