Claims from other people to my insurance. This was like 3-4yrs back.

 

IIRC, premium increases due history of 3rd party claims go back as far as 5 years, I think.

 

So, maybe la.

But didn't know its that bad. Maybe coz your bike is still new.

Usually, I know of 3 factors for price increase:

 

1. History of claims against

2. New bike (first 3 years premium will be quite high)

3. Rider age (and to some extent, experience)

 

Other factors like market, demand, etc are subjective.

But these 3 factors are very important.

wanna ask what is the price difference between the 400 and 600 cc??cos i jux love the design and the technology of a gsr but if the price of a 400 is almost lesser/same as the 600 then i was thinking of getting the 600...anyway ya jux wanna ask the price of both.thx

 

If you have a Class 2 or waiting for Class 2 TP test, might as well wait and get a GSR600.

Difference of OTR price is like 1-2K only.

Little bit of increase in insurance and road-tax.

Maintenance and parts are nearly the same.

 

Other enquries, check up on pages 281 & 282.

But they allow me to renew on my own. In fact, I changed company midway.

Was with AIG then I switched back to NTUC.

 

Of coz urs higher la.

Are all the policy documents etc... signed by you when you first purchased kept by the company you 'bought' the bike from?

 

Cos I remember the only docs I brought back was my 1 page insurance and road tax...

 

They were mentioning about mailing me the rest of the docs? but somehow I have not received any... and I wonder what the docs are too... This has slipped my mind till you guys are discussing this...

 

So just ask you guys first before I call them...

Time to change to special Screws!!!

dun think its easy to get special screws esp that 2 black screws.

 

Frankly lah. I dun think ppl so free to go open the bike for fun loh. Somemore unless u park at a ulu place where other ppl can open and no one see than i got nothing to say lah.

well, this one hard to say. when the bike is targetted, thats it. open ur tank still ok. wat if they lift off the whole bike?

 

There are such things as Alarm systems. U wanna be more kiasu get perimiter sensors installed. Bleargh..... wat a comment... teaching thieves. They open tank also got what? First thing they see is jus the air box? And then what? Another 10mins to get the box off then steal your spark plugs?? Funny sia. :giddy:

alarm is for deterence. n dun forget theives r clever nowadays. do u know wat they r thinking?

Gentlemen, the 2008 GSR600B with factory installed Yoshi standards and blood red rims.

Comes with the GSR logo engraved. Makes it look limited edition.
