If that's the case then he shld head over to Seng Kwang and custom fabricate an end can. Confirm louder then the 600cc. OR cut out the cat.

Hmmm... Thus far no news on non-standard HID wif any product that's layerd directly onto the headlamp... Neway wat was meant in my previous statement was that Non standard bulbs would emit heat and dissipation of it is impeded with acrylic or other clear cover being used for protection. Anything being layered directly onto the headlamp means that heat is being dissipated via conduction. Whereas those acrylic protectors via convection having that layer of still air as per mentioned by you. Like every school kid would know, dissipation of heat via conduction is way better then convection. However having an additional layer of clear polymer does make it similar to the greenhouse. Harder to dissipate heat. I being a lone ranger with no labs or whatever scientific equipment CANNOT confirm that it is the case with products such as Raceshield as they have their own RND labs to test them. But the theory is there thou.

 

Wif HID.. i seriously see no issue as HID's are proven to emit lesser heat but brighter light.

 

Hey i have no issues with Raceshield in any way. In fact i feel it is a good investment for new bikes...

 

Yes, non standard HIDs do/might emit higher then necessary heat, causing OEM headlamp assembly (the frontal polycarbonate part) to heat up, resulting in the common "whitish" look (polycarbonate overheating). I have seen some bike getting those phenomena after upgrading from OEM bulbs to aftermarket HIDs. Cars are not spared either.

when i ride at higher than 4k rpm, there's a vibrating sound. it's not the IU. What other parts could be possible?

when i ride at higher than 4k rpm, there's a vibrating sound. it's not the IU. What other parts could be possible?

Same here with me ... I had the vibrating sound when travelling at high speed enough to caused vibration ... what I did is to hold one hand on my IU to see if it still have the sound, and it has, so I hold the brake oil holder also still has vibration sound ... I lean closer to the oil tank and it seems to come from under the brake oil container ... I saw many wires below the handle bar and conclude that it is either one of those wires that are causing the vibration sound, so I ignored it. So anyone has any conclusion to make whether the sound comes from where? Kinda fun yah ... trying to spot the irritating sound ...

 

Also, when I press the front brake... there's a zzeeezzeezee sound ... quite soft and barely audible... but I have tested, it is caused by pressing the front brake lever... when I depress the lever the sound comes on... and when I let go the lever, the sound goes off ... what is that sound?

 

So today topic ... spot the sound and identify the sound

Aqua's bike and Aqua bike big diff haha. Aqua bike mean seldom ride, always under shelter, well loved by the owner,wear alot of jeweleries eh i mean fixed alot accessories etc etc

strip off one part by one part and see if the sound goes away...

You forgot to add, you never add human to the equation hahaha.

 

Anyway check your keys. Vibrate also mah hahahha. Buy a key pouch if you dun wan the keys to vibrate. Please exclude the bike key. It could be due to key chain or other house keys rattling away.
