Guys... as much as this is a crazy money bugging world....

The richness of life is about how you keep the people around you and spend the fruitfulness of life with them...

We all will have our own opportunities...

Life is not always fair to everyone...

But strive for the best in whatever you do...

Appreciate the people around you...

and may thus then you find meaning in the life you live...

Cheers to the everyone!

personal tip from yours truly...

not for the faint hearted or the chiongster type....

1) wear a low profile plain white/black helmet.

2) greet the TP tester when they check your license/IC.

3) don ya-ya wear leather gloves. use std Fugly white gloves.

4) give blur-****/innocent/i-need-my-2A-for-my-family-rice-bowl look.

5) nod and acknowledge every damn "wave on" from TP tester at stations.

6) wear the stoopid elbow and knee guard even tho' u have been riding for donkey years with eyes closed.

our bros are also right.

1) if wobble and almost fall from narrow plank, throttle and sacrifice a few points. ( 4 points )

2) unless u have perfected emrgency breaks by avoiding all the JB motorist daily, u may want to sacrifice speed and technique/posture to avoid any chance of immediate failure if u fall ( 4 + 4 points )

3) exagerate your blind spot checking and moving off check backs as if your entire neck is those spring neck dolls. failure contribute ( 2 + 2 points )

even after all of the above, u realise that u may still cun cun get 18 points and STILL PASS....

MOST IMPORTANTLY, do NOT yaya and over-confident and try to make it a perfect-zero-point test, cos botomline, zero point = PASS and 18 points ALSO = PASS....so be smart...get the bloody license AND then cut pattern outside...good luck to you bro!!! cheers!!!

i dowan to be fastest...

i just wan to be FAST-er...

there is no such thing as innocence, ONLY DEGREES OF GUILT...

Congratulations u have successfully become the person u hate most

BTW suehaimi... u should feel lucky that u got someone to support u a bike... money not easy to earn... from the way u are thinking, i guess u are still very young... (BTW im only 23), and very very very very immature...

If u changing to REVO, i congratulate u and hope that u will feel happy with it.... sorry to say this, but for me, i feel that if u are comfatable with the bike u have, why bother abt wat other ppl say, u happy can already...

When i got my GSR, ppl ask me why buy GSR, why this why that, my reply was... I LIKED the design of the bike....

Dear GSR bros & sis, i hope all of u dun get offended with what i just said... coz after reading through all that u have said, i guess that i should just end it with a simple note...

RIDE WAT U WANNA RIDE, GOT MONEY, JUST CHANGE LA... :p

Ride wat u are comfatable with, and not ride what ppl ask u to ride...

PEACE OUT!!!

this line made me laugh

anyway... good morning

1) wear a low profile plain white/black helmet.

 My class 2 TP, was wearing a Zeus flip-up full face.

Coz I got no other PSB-sticker helmets and was not going to spend anohter $50 just to get one for a one-time use.

2) greet the TP tester when they check your license/IC.

Good point. The only problem is they give you a sour face in return like you just molested their beloved wife.

3) don ya-ya wear leather gloves. use std Fugly white gloves.

$20 219 leather full-length gloves for me. Too cheapo to go buy another one just for TP only.

4) give blur-****/innocent/i-need-my-2A-for-my-family-rice-bowl look.

Good tip. But dun give too innocent look. Later they think you too n00b and not ready for the road and fail you.

5) nod and acknowledge every damn "wave on" from TP tester at stations.

Good tip. Just do it at the appropriate moment otherwise later kena points for failure to control bike or excessive signaling.

6) wear the stoopid elbow and knee guard even tho' u have been riding for donkey years with eyes closed.

No comments.

1) if wobble and almost fall from narrow plank, throttle and sacrifice a few points. ( 4 points )

This I always advocate. Better a lose a few points then immediate failure when you lose control.

The trick I use is half-clutch. Dun use brakes.

When riding up onto the plank, throttle up as needed. Then tap once lightly on the rear brake when you are on the plank and use half-clutch to maintain timing. Just count the timing. No need too long. You won't get a prize for breaking driving centre record on the plank.

The same goes for bumpy course: Better to lose a few points for clearing too soon then immediate failure for falling off the bike.

2) unless u have perfected emrgency breaks by avoiding all the JB motorist daily, u may want to sacrifice speed and technique/posture to avoid any chance of immediate failure if u fall ( 4 + 4 points )

Just take it easy and ride normally as you would. But dun be too fast, dun be too reckless and make sure you do all the necessary checks. Often, many likely fail not because of each station but fail because of accumulated points.

3) exagerate your blind spot checking and moving off check backs as if your entire neck is those spring neck dolls. failure contribute ( 2 + 2 points )

I remember the instructor's tip on this:

Make sure you helmet is visibly turned. The testers dun care whether your eyes are open or not when you check. But make sure you TURN your head to check blindspot and turnings.

even after all of the above, u realise that u may still cun cun get 18 points and STILL PASS....

MOST IMPORTANTLY, do NOT yaya and over-confident and try to make it a perfect-zero-point test, cos botomline, zero point = PASS and 18 points ALSO = PASS....so be smart...get the bloody license AND then cut pattern outside...good luck to you bro!!! cheers!!!

Agreed.

As they say, any pass is still a good pass, points or no points.

There will never be a perfect zero points.

But that said and done, here's a little motivation la.

Unless you screw up major at one of the station or get an immediate failure, its very hard to fail 2A or 2 TP tests.

I ever seen, while taking my class 2A, one candidate, rode round the whole circuit coz he missed his first turn. Normally, immediate failure rite?

Nope, he cleared the whole course again and passed.

Nice.....

From what is that there is no requirement for helmet and glove. I used my Shoei and my Clover glove for my 2A, instructor still ask me where i buy my helmet. SO it ok to wear ur full face or whatever helmet you have. As long as u dun make major safety compromise than ok liao. Riding time also as long as u get back in one piece and no mounting or knocking over cones than ok liao. Seen one lady ride till almost fall down from plank. but still pass.

So confidence is impt.
