the stock settings got my bike a little wobbly at 100km/h..also made me a little less confident to corner..right now, my forks are set at the 4th ring from the top, my shock preload is at 6 but i hav yet to twitch the damper settings...FYI i'm a heavy guy...It rides a little better now but still i'm not comfortable wit the setting...
no wonder lar bro.. ur rear so hard then ur front so soft. remember, for fork preload, 0 rings is hardest, 7 rings is softest. with 6 at the rear and with your weight you should either be at 2 or 3 rings. 4 rings is waaaay too soft for you. which is why you find the front a bit wobbly.. try 2 rings and update us here k..

Dude... At times like this. U're better being reckless for a moment to save your butt. Drop gear and whack ahead of the car or to swerve away for a moment. If u managed to get beside the car. Give him the international salute. Followed by universal "greeting message". The dude not happy ask u to stop by the road side, just stop near crowded area. Create a conversation. Make him annoyed. Curse his father mother and say u and your friends fuked his daughter and she will have a Basturd child and will soon die of aids. Also say that his dog fuks his wife better than he does. Make sure all this converstation is at a low level voice such that only he can hear. Then wait for his first strike. The moment he strikes make sure u dive like most italian soccer players do. Writhe in pain say all kinds of shiete. Get the public to call the police. Sue the monkey. Get your bike pimped from all the returns...
you the man lar. all the flowery language also come out, father mother also kena, wife oso get f*cked. i like your style man! if only we dare say it when the situation on the roads arise.. lol.

yan>> thanks for the pictures bro.. tonight still on. 2345hrs mobilisation at Innova JC bus stop..

devil-suzy:the bike shud adapt to the rider, not the rider to the bike...isn't it the reason y ur running on those kinda pressures on ur tyres? to suit to ur riding style...

think you need to change your forks and rear suspension to those fully adjustable ones...

i've tried going to the third ring but found it too stiff the cornering pulak wobbly..so if 2, i can only wonder..i'm trying to work out the space between 4th n 3rd ring..the rear i'm happy wit it as of now..but hand itchy to disturb the damper setting:cheeky:

i was actually looking at a few aftermarket forks..the Marzocchi inverted fork wud be top on my list..if not, i'll go for the GSX-R fork..as for shock not planning to change any...

A bit difficult leh bike adapt to rider....sure got things not suited to you.

If you are talking about MotoGP then different already. That one is confirm bike suited for rider. Many many engineers will listen to the rider hehhe.

Anyway good luck on the mod, sure an expensive hobby hehehe.

Seems like you really know how to appreciate "riding". I myself wasn't a sensitive rider, hence, still using the standard settings.

Would like to learn how to set the suspensions :)

Nonetheless, I think your doing a great job in making ur bike to adapt to you.

Friend is still doing her run-in, will ask from her when she's done with her run in. (regarding the suspensions)

DIY list

1. Volt Meter

2. Air Box Mod

3. Electric Horn

4. Dual Head Light

5. Removing of Mid Pipe's Cat

Lots of up north riding.

But so far im very happy with the bike. After so many km clocked the engine still runs sweet. All i did was an eo n of change every 5000km, new spark plugs after 40000km, new air filter at 44000km..

And it still hits 178kmh with fully loaded 40l panniers. :)

rien d'autre que le max.
