Ya. I was thinking if it's not worth it, i'll get a px200. but i don't really like the nose. There's 2 park near my house. Think i should ask if they wanna sell?

ahaha...no harm in asking...

you could always convert your px200 into a super or a sprint...

but know that if and when it comes time to sell, you'll never get as much out of your modded px200 as compared to an original sprint or super....

 

selling price for a done up or modded px is never as high as a sprint or super...unless you got accessories like our friend sharpey here.....

hmmm...true enough,accesories does play its part..n individualism is a key factor...y not just buy an old vintage bike if u want "vintage-ness"...but hey px is not bad either cos i missed me px...but it wont get to vintage bikes price range till maybe 5-10 yrs more n hey maybe its an investment here...but i guess,by den next generation might just want it as original...but who's what to say whom...if u love it just do it...vespassion not vesfashion...cheers...

personally i like a px or even an excel cos i was a ph rider (some of their bikes r fast i tell u,they used 2 use vespa be4 using wave)....cos it's much faster i think...n much more reliable....may be cheaper than e older bikes...but there's pros n cons to everything...u want vintage,u cant ride as u can on a px or newer chassis engines...u want capability, it won look vintage...even if u mix em both,deep inside u noe 4 urself but like some of e stuff i read in here..every1 has their own point...so we share n some will break it down to their preference..its like choosing e focal point of a pic..n how can i be asleep after what ive read here...i didnt noe there were so many like me...n opps...it took me 2 yrs to start typin here...haha

yeah...last time i went through alot of pages.....

and yeah....we all have our preferences...

some like the classics..some like the mods..some DIY paintjobs to servicing....

some like me..don't know peanuts...ahahah....

but it's ok...we all learn from each other..and the guys here are really friendly...

do join us for an outing...should we organize one...

i think the next meetup would be for a workshop to teach the newbies how to change clutch cable and the like...

progressing to more advanced stuff in later sessions...

 

by the time i'm done with my scoot..it's gonna look like a mash up off different types of scoots

looking at the mior and major details, there's alot of differences between a px and sprint body....

but u have to look closer to really see it all....

it's gonna take time and quite abit of money to mod it to a sprint..and resale value is always a factor......

 

but if you really want it..then by all means.....

personally ive nvr agreed on e mod from a px to a sprint...its like a mixed breed...like a rat mating with a cat...hahaha,ops no offence but some of e guys ive seen do modd it quite well.if any1 were to approach me askin about moddin their px...i'd suggest em to make it original factory state..n if they want a vintage bike,y not save e cash of moddin it n just grab an old bike.its dat simple right..its their money anyways but hey...just as long its 2 wheeled, has a spair tyre n engines on its right side...i'll ride with em..dont u agree?

was thinking that too when i first got my px...but now i think i'll only do some minor mods to the sidebox n enging cowl...brake n signal lights..and a few others

hikazi, where do you stay? and how much are you selling your sprint V for?

sigh.. failed my lesson 8 again. But i heard from this guy from the driving centre, if my TP is during my BMT, i can book out? Anyone can confirm? I'm enlisting in april 27th.

weeable > don't be disheartened...i took my prac 8 4 times before i passed...

if u want u can just take more road revisions....was told by the instructors that there's little need to take circuit revisions....

 

and yeah..if u have TP on that day you can book out.....

but since it's bmt, you'll have to skip certain lessons for that day...
