Now that all the documents are submitted to LTA they'll hopefully give me an approval letter by Friday. Then I have to go for inspection....

What do you mean long????

You should be running a longthread sparkplug in your pinasco, unless you have a shortthread cylinder head.... the only way to check this is to remove the cylinder head.... bear in mind that its good to have a torque wrench handy in order to torque the head down evenly when you re-fit it.

sharpey> guess cephelix is rite. alloy kit runs on a short thread plug. stock block run on long thread block. am not too sure if the same goes to the 200 kit. cos the setup is gd to go on a 150 kit. and congrats on ur scorpion trumpet. :cheer:

usually they use cable ties to secure the basket steng z......

what i'm wondering is how do you prevent ppl from opening your basket n taking its contents???

-= Unsure of what to get=-

200's run a long thread... stock and kitted are the same... the only way that a 200 will ever use a short thread is if they have a modded 150 head fitted.....

Put a B8ES in there like I said.... This isn't rocket science!!!

The Scorpion is now Certified Road Legal.....

All I can say is, make sure you're brakes are working if you get one.

Scoot now sounds more like an RXZ... which is bound to surpise considerable numbers of motorists after they see a black Vespa whizz by....

Am so happy I may actually have a trouser accident :p

So... fitting took the best part of 3 hours.... screws don't want to go into nuts etc.... ended up lying scooter down on battery side to finsih the installation....

You can run a spare with this pipe.... but I haven't quite figured out how yet... no matter... am ditching the spare in favour of a tubeless repair kit and some compressed air canisters....

Low down torque isn't as good as with a stock pipe.. (true with nearly all Vespa expansion chambers)... once the revs get up you get to a point where the pipe "hits"... then keep one eye on the road, and the other at the speedo needle watching it rapidly rising....

Obviously my jetting and timing are still not sorted properly... am now running conservatively... But WOW...

Like I said....If you want one.... save up for a disk brake, or some kind of parachute.
