haha when mentioning bout the 1/4 bottle each time u top up, i guess it depends on the size of ur bottle. If its those 500ml bottle, 1/4 tank would be just about right... :cheer:

But as machine_k said, the medicine bottle (from those chinese sinseh or GP cough syrup medicine) is the most versatile. Even got demarcations of 10ml for u to note... haha rule of thumb, 20ml of 2T per Litre of petrol. Can have more, dun go less.

When i was using cheapo 2T, i pour in alot... machiam a walking pollutant... the amt of smoke my scoot churn out

Oh... we r meeting at jurong point area? that's swell.... i will pop down if i dun get a hangover haha. 11am at Jurong Point then.

And i think Vigano means the taxi stand nearer the bus interchange side yeah? Cuz the JP taxi-stand is pretty crowded and not much place to wait.

autolube...

the new px has it...

it means that you dont have to keep adding 2T to your petrol tank after every topup.....

just dump in 1L of 2T.

all the older models require premix

Autolube is where the carb mixes oil and petrol for you with the help of an oil pump. Its standard on newer PX's, but some earlier models did have it also...

You know you have autolube if you have 2 caps on the top of your fuel tank... one for fuel, one for oil

Its convenient seeing as it takes the agar agaration out of having to mix oil with petrol every time you fill up.

new px... means px200? and i realised not all px200 has disc brakes. If i want to put in disc brakes to those or to px150, any idea how much it'll cost? Gonna get my vespa soon!! :D after i pass my tp.. haha..

All that I can say is that that is a really beautiful scooter.

There are quite a few that I've seen and liked but I think those are the newer auto ones.

Used to see this baby pink one with the Happy house stickers in Marine Parade.

Saw another vintage one at Maxwell Market the other day. It had the old style horn that is separate from the bike. Which means if you wanna horn at someone then you have to release from clutch and squeeze the horn. So cute:smile:

:cheeky: :dozed:

px 200 is not new.....but they have newer production models...

those with autolube + discbrake are the newer ones....

to mod a px so it has a disc brake, would cost roughly ard $500(quoted from TA) though the price may vary from scoot to scoot.....

my advice is to just look for a px with a disc brake unless you have spare cash lying ard for conversion

ahahaha.....planescape has that horn too i think...

can be bought separately and fixed on....i think more for decorative purposes rather than functional
