thks sharpey... actually i used 2 ride nv150 close 2 a yr i tink tis model frm india... i bought it at $1100 and the condition was horrible so i sent 2 workshop did some repairs tat cost ard another $400... and still the condition was jus ok... sigh.... i jus sold it not long ago for $700... not im tinking of getting a vespa again with superb condition...

Yup LML NV150... not a bad scoot at all... but perhaps doesn't yet command the same resale value as a Vespa PX.... unless you disguise and mislead :dot:

If you want a simmilar PX style body then by all means be pateint and wait for a nice one to come along... those with Disk brakes actually stop (quite an advancement in technology for these italian ladies shopping bikes).... No rush ok... expect to pay anwhere from 600-2500 depending on age of scoot, degree of blurrness of seller, degreee of your bargaining skills etc... The market price tends to vary with the tides!

We're all more than happy to help though... so just post here with the scoots you're looking at... I think Wildswans found this helped her when she bought hers...

If you want a sprint.... be sure to read the wiki and do extra research first... the older the scoot model, the higher the price and also the higher the likelyhood that the engine has got issues.....

I would say that it'd be best to stick to PX type scoots until you're confident of what to look out for in a Sprint/Super....
