Cheers all :) he's a real trooper... just resting now after a big feed....

 

 

GT23... fully synth oil is the most resistant to seizure...

 

If your scoot is BONE STOCK.... then by all means use a semi-synth... its just that the fully synth oils have a higher temp threshold before they 'let go' and let your piston jam in the cylinder.... Its insurance on a stock scoot... and NECESSARY if you have a cylinder kit. What Wee was likely saying is not to mix the fully synth with the semi synth... use one or the other.

 

 

itsonfire... if difficulty in changing gears means that your scoot will somtimes pop out of gear... esp 2nd and 3rd under high revs/load...then yes its the cruciform (shifting cross).... changing it requires an engine rebuild which costs .... the labour charge is $160-180 dep. on where you go... Budget around $2-400 dep. on what else you want to have changed/need to have changed...

ladies ladies.........yes, I juz had a 86' PX150 Exclusive 2 but I ain't happy with it due to the fact that I prefer Disc brake.

Okie so the list is as follow:

 

Cep: 3-4 bottles

Wild: 3-4 bottles

Zen: 3-4 bottles

Fire: 2 bottles

etwy: 2 bottles...

Weeable: 2 bottles

GT23: 2 bottles

It'll be either Castrol R2 or Esso Gold....

I personally have been using R2

Those that have been using both says there is no difference between the 2
