hey btw, my exhause looks like **** now too..i wanna get it spray wif black rubber paint... i think that will do. but will the rubbler melt in high temputure? any comments?

Yeah... high temp exhaust spray... or failing that bbqpaint (doesn't last as long)... You need to spray the exhaust often to keep it from developing rust... If the rust is already quite bad, a shop will sand it down and respray for you... if rust is minor, just spray the paint over it :)

Pro of LML

Cheaper to buy

Diskbrake hub looks more "classic"

Con of LML

150's come with a crank of dubious quality (accoridng to American's who ride Stellas [rebadged LML 150's])

Paint not as good quality

General build quality varies... maybe not as good as Piaggio...

Having said all this, the difference between the two is pretty small... I wouldn't not buy one....

Worth checking the 150's as they might come with a new cylinder with reedvalve induction.. (as seen on the Stella) pretty cool...

200's are just the same as the Italian ones...

hey guys i am changing my back suspension...any recomanndaion? i saw this one at ban hoe leong....the uncle say it's for racing scooter....made in italy which cost 40 plus .... opinion?

A normal PX shock will fit your scoot if I'm not wrong Whazzup... can keep your old spring and just buy a new damper... BTW what's wrong with your current shock? Don't get rid of it, it may be one of the old re-buildable ones :)

hmm...the old one surface corrode already, can see the inner part of the metel pipe. anyway , getting a new one i think cost like 20 plus the normal stock one...but made in india. then the racing one, wif suspension softer to absorb better shock cost 40 plus but no brand....how? which one better? tiong aik sells any good rear suspension ?

Posted

40+ for a rear sus is good value for money, + it's meant for racing so it's got good damping features? wow, can it fit my PX? i want one too!

erm... i dunno if it's wrong to post this here.. but what do u guys think of a forum that allows u to make a little bit of money just by posting? I am in it. But not in it for the money, not much anyways, but to donate it. with everyone donating, it will make a big difference. What do you guys think? We can form our own vespa community there!

careful ewty being sarcastic gets you into lots of trouble on this board (some folks evidently have no sense of humour :) )

But yeah... I reckon the uncles at banhoeloeng are spinning you a yarn... $40 shocks are $40 dollar shocks... I have a good one (proper racing shock) for $200 if you like :)

hmmm, i dont know, but 40bucks is really cheap for a racing suspension.. might go to a few shops and ask around b4 deciding which one to buy.
