yup..and they have a rear disc brake kit for px's too!!!!

but i'm wondering if it's semi or totally hydraulic(what's it called??)

-= Unsure of what to get=-

I think it can be either... depending on how balls out you want to go... But in truth, the rear disk is more about BLING than anything else... the stock brake is easy enough to lockup and skid (as I'm sure you'll agree :) ) Thus the added benefit of a disc would be ?

Am looking at deseaming now... want to get rid of the frame seams.... Konglong... do you reckon Hendra's welder would be up to the task?

Also looking at getting some of these made COOL!

Reckon we could find a local source?

No offence.... but I spend enough time as it is keeping track of 4-5 scooter forums.... I don't need another one.... I know its for a good cause and all.... instead why not see if Singaporebikes wants to get involved with this MILK thing...

Don't want to seem mean spirited....

No offence bro. Don't worry. We all know that you have been very helpful and contributive in the forums, here especially. So, what do you guys think of moving this "cafe" over? in that way, all of us won't have to keep track of an additional forum. However, for that cafe over there to be successful, we need you and ur technicial knowledge. Won't be the same without u man. Please do reconsider.

Cheers to cep! He made the first move already!

sharpey > i saw those on SIP, but i think the riffled floorboards look more fitting.

I wonder if it's possible to get those in singapore???

ooo..deseaming eh?what does it involve?

and yeah, the rear disc brakes are more for bling...

you'd need alot more mods done for that to come in handy

erm... deseaming can be done in a couple of ways afaik....

one... fill in the seams with weld and grind smooth

two cut the seam out (in sections) and weld in a flat strip of metal in its place then grind smooth...

Trying to avoid using bondo (body filler) as it will crack eventually.

The riffled floorboards are sold by TA I believe...

Weable... if the Cafe moves, I'll move with it.... but... I will say that I'm not too thrilled with the concept of posts earning money... seems dodgy somehow...

I don't mind donating to charity... organising some other way for us scooterists to raise cash (preferably by riding out scoots :) ).....

What does everyone else think???

am riding a PX200 (as per my signature). I have a Exclusive 2 PX150 over at Hendra's place doin up. Am still looking out for a PX150 (new model) or a PX200 (>FV plate).

my current bike is a PX200 disc. I'm sellin off the Exclusive 2 150cc. I am keeping the current PX200 and it's look. The other Disc model that I am hunting for will be coverted to a vintage look.

His current 200 is a disc model.... he wants another though :)

aha... beat me to it :)

The bajaj and the sprint should be about the same given that both are over 30years old... You might be able to get a lower price on a bajaj though

ok thanks sharpy for the HID enlightenment, yah , i was indeed refering to HID "whites" lights. ok but anyway , i just went down to a chroming shop in kallang. he quoated me 80 buacks for rims to be chrom, i guess that is pretty much the standard rate around. have since ask 2 workshops already. and yah , the shop at kallang, ah joo send his stuff there to chrome , so i guess he is pretty reliable. anyway , i might be sending my stuff down to do polish as well as chroming..porberly tomolo...chroming exhase is 30 dollards...those stock ones.

oooo....30 bucks to chrome exhaust???...hmmm...may be doing that for mine...

tempted to mod my scoot to vintage...but keeping the fork and headlight...

so just mainly mudguard n cowls...would it look weird?

-= Unsure of what to get=-

the reason why 80buacks to chrom the rims is becos the some rims or wheel cover are made of aluminium, if it is in metel or steel then i guess would be cheaper.. just like the price of the exhase, 30 bucks....

Having chrome parts are like having pets.....Be prepare well in advance to take care of it :giddy: .... N E way how ex is it to convert from normal px fork to those of disc brake and of the reservoir thingy??? Tx in advance :thumb:

from drum brakes to disc brakes, it'll cost about $500 last i asked...that is before the 7% gst...

and yeah, having chrome is a bit of a hassle
