hey guys,

 

just read the stuff over at the other thread. sorry sharpey, you took some flak there. i was only thinking since it was a thread belonging to the aj club most people would have bought/got their scoot done at jincheng. so i was asking if it was common to wait for 3months but people started asking more so i replied. really appreciate those that replied.

 

but obviously, some thought (no idea how) that i or the people who replied me were using their thread to complain/slander.

I think you'll just have to wait this one out... I reckon the shop is really busy and as some have said, if your not a known customer you might have to wait longer.. Worst comes to worst ask for your money back... but I think that might be a bit rash. Do what they suggested.... pester, and get some of the club to help you pester...

 

Oh here's an idea... why not take the scoot now and start riding it and then take it back when they're ready to work on it... that way you have transport.... OR work out how much to pay extra just for machine price and take your restoration work to a shop that is less busy.

 

Oh and altough it'll be hard to do.... try to get stuff written on paper in future...

 

You have options as thankfully you didn't pay in full.

Hi, I'm new to this forum and a photography enthusiast. I don't ride bikes but hope to shoot some Vespas. If you're interested, let me know! Would prefer female Vespa riders.

Hey Sharpy, guess i owe u a apology too , you got into some misunderstanding there becos of me and narcx =D

 

Anyway Narcx scoot had to be done from scratch coz he picked it when its an empty shell. So he can't ride the scooter off.

 

And as for my case, i roughly settle it and learnt a lesson too so its case closed fer me le

Anyway...for all you un-informed people..snicker..snicker...only bikes registered with Company name can be insured for 'Any Rider'..So if Mr Ah Joo loans you his scoot..it's perfectly legal and covered.

 

I've been reading both threads and really was refraining from joining in the fray...looks like good fun must admit.

 

My suggestion will be for the owner of this website to make the AJ scooters thread a private one, password protected, to protect the members of AJ scooters from 'intruders' who are not familiar with their culture or are not friends of theirs. No point pretending it is a public friendly thread and are so touch sensitive their members can blow up in an instant. The amount of Slander and personal hatred aimed at Sharpey by Tazzy was below the belt. I am sure an apology is in order here. And to Aziz...your motto should read "If you ride a scooter, you are one of us! Except if .. 1) we don't know you personally, 2) named Sharpey or James, 3) you have a different opinion, 3) you don't spend all your time telling each other how cool you are, 4) subject to change or add as and when i like it!! Maybe lay a few landmines around 'your' thread and start singing praises of Your Great Leader should any unfriendlies like Sharpey still insist to go in there.

 

And finally a word of advice for Sharpey...don't know what you did man...but you got to stop making fun of fairies man!!
