YAY!!!!!!!!!!! i passed! Finally!! only 2 bloody pts!!! far cry from the 38 i got the last time. ok. What do i do now? i've got a laid ** vespa WAITING for me to ride it. I must get insurance and send it for inspection right? The vespa has a faulty light signal light, will it pass inspection?? :smile:

Fix signal light... will not pass (unless you get lucky and they don't bother to check)

 

Y**... buy insurance first... then send for inspection, and get road tax... then you're good to go... Whatever you do, don't ride scooter to inspection centre... Bikbulance will only charge you $30 or so... so its not worth you being banned from riding just to save $30...

anyway congrats on passing.. what vespa are u getting.. if im not wrong they wont pass ya inspection.. im not suree..

Where's your bike?

 

Send to somewhere reliable to check it so that it can pass inspection and then ask them to sen it in for you

 

Better pay the money instead of getting into trouble...

 

Think you need to prepare 400-500 for your insurance

what plate is it.. more like 500-600 ah.. itsssss damn expensiveee the insurance.. i wanna get another bike ah.. but insurance too expensive

NTUC are now in AMK hub (maybe more convenient for you than going to town opposite CHIMES)

 

Um, yeah.. just check that your brakes are working... your lights are working... then should pass without trouble.. no need to spend further money having your scoot taken to and from inspection...

 

If your signal isn't working check the buib first... swap with one that is working and see if it fixes it...

oh btw.. the newspaper a few days ago said something abt free inspection at certain places.. maybe u might wanna go.. i need to inspect my bike pretty sooon too.. let me know what do they check k? hehe

ok, where can i get the blub and and can i fix it myself? Thought NTUC was expensive? If the VICOM centre is at yishun, and i stay near by, could i ride there? haha..

get the bulb from one of your other signals and swop... if it works then buy a new bulb from a scooter shop... see http://www.vesporeanfaq.wikispaces.com

 

Don't ride your scooter before its passed inspection unless you want to risk being caught and having lots of bad stuff happen....
