LTA has contracted six traffic wardens from a private company at $34,000 a year to take down the licence platenumber, make and colour of vehicles that intrude into bus lanes at peak hours.

 

 

(They are incognito with camera in hands......so don't expect to see a TP, etc)... Note you can get fined $130 for dropping someone off at or near the bus stop.

 

Bus Lane operation hrs :

7.30 am to 9.30 am and 4.30pm to 7pm (Weekdays)

7.30 am to 9.30 am & 11.30 am to 2 pm (Saturdays)

 

LTA has intensified their operations at the following areas:

1) Eunos Link

2) Hougang Ave 3

3) Jurong Town Hall Rd

4) Lorong Chuan

5) Orchard Rd

6) **per Serangoon Rd

7) **per Thomson Rd

8) Yishun Ave 2

 

Additional spots where speed traps were seen,

1) PIE towards airport near Toa Payoh exit, tripod mounted speed camera at the pedestrain overhead bridge. 90km/h

2) PIE towards jurong near adam road exit, tripod mounted speed camera over at Adam Road flyover. 90km/h

3) Braddell Road after Bishan Junction towards CTE, tripod mounted speed camera at the pedestrain overhead bridge. 60/kmh

4) Queensway towards Bukit Merah, tripod mounted speed camera under tree before Ridout McDonalds. 60km/h

5) Spot along **per Bukit Timah Rd towards Woodlands Rd, tripod mounted speed camera under tree after a curve turn - 60km/h.

 

Fine imposed is $170 and 8 demerit points.

Thanks bro. But the problem is not the bulb. i tried switching over the bulbs just now. the left one still doesn't work. Some wiring problem? what can i do now? any repair shop near the inspection place? SIN MING? and is misuri or NTUC cheaper? i wanna be able to ride tmr..........

yes... try alexandra motor in SIN MING AUTOCARE ground floor... cannot vouch for the quality... but do know that they repair Vespas... If its just a simple wiring issue shouldn't cost you much to fix... best of luck...

Hi,

 

Decided to start this thread as my postings were getting lost in the Vespa Cafe thread.

 

I'm taking an intermediate level photography course right now and have a photo assignment. Ever since I caught sight of the Vespa in my childhood, I've been fascinated and intrigued! So when the photo assignment came up, I quickly thought of the Vespa. I can't ride a bike or scooter and my mum will really kill me if I try to get a license, but at least I get to shoot some! Well, hopefully anyway.

 

So here's the deal. I need to start shooting this Saturday (21 July)--you know lah, assignments urgent mah! I would like to shoot a few Vespa owners and their Vespas. You don't have to look like a model; in fact I prefer average looks as that will be less intimidating for me! Some of you mentioned not having photogenic Vespas. Well, it doesn't need to be super gorgeous and of an attention grabbing colour. If there are dents or certain flaws, I can always focus on other parts!

 

What I want to shoot: you and your Vespa. The relationship between you and your Vespa. You can be polishing, hugging, riding, sitting, or just goofing around with your scooter. You can pose with your Vespa and a favourite item (eg. book/teddy bear/bag/interesting helmet). If you want to wear retro clothes or colour-coordinate with your Vespa, that will be great! If you have other ideas, let me know and we can probably arrange something as long as we don't break the law or risk life & limb!

 

So what do you get? Photos of you and your beloved Vespa! I'll select some of the better photos and give you a set of 4R prints and one 8R print. I get to fulfill my assignment and you get some nice photos. It's a win-win situation.

 

Being a gal, I have a slight preference for shooting women, but guys are welcome too. If you're interested or have any questions at all, please reply to this thread or email me at [email protected]. I prefer to shoot in the morning, though afternoon is fine too if we can find some shade. If you can suggest a nice outdoor area (not too crowded but not that remote either), please do.
