hey, just to share my two cents, ive been in two accidents, one i had to be sent to the hospital in an ambulance. both times i was using this 20dollar "kiss racing team" helmet which i bought initially for pillion riding.

Is this helmet any good? The seller says that it meets the DOT standards and all.

 

 

If you wanna get such a helmet, go to Regina or ah boy. $30 for matt black & $35 with design. PSB approved.

 

I paid $35 for my helmet. Cheap and really good.

and my head is still fine.. but i'd say go for a good helmet. its insurance.

just to elaborate abit, i skidded and was dragged on the road for about 20m, had my jeans and shirt torn with major lacerations and a broke wrist. and when i finally came to a stop it was because my head hit a curb. thank god i was wearing atleast a psb approved helmet and not a half cap or something. i wouldve died.

wow.. ya. Thanks for sharing guys. I do believe that safety is extremely impt. Where can i get the jacket? and if the helmet is PSB approved, does it mean its safe enough? And sharpey, don't worry, i know u mean well, and i do take ur words seriously. I've got too much ahead of me to die now. Maybe you guys can also share how did yall get into accidents?

i skidded once due to jamming of real wheel on wet road surface.. so, porper braking technic on a scooter is very important as the rear wheel tents to lock up heaps, and it really does't help when the road is wet at the same time.. pratise engine braking.

Usually, how much do you guys set the front and back tyre pressure?

I had mine @ 200 front and 210 back.

Im riding a spark currently... and im gonna own an old vespa that belongs to my late grandpa...

 

so for this vespa, wat can i do to it..?

1) where do i make/design it...? beter outlook?

2) the place for me to check out great stuff for the vespa...

 

hope you guys can tell me where to get the stuff.... or is there any ideas of wat i can do to this vespa!!!...
