i tink u should get a 2nd hand exhaust cheaper den welding, n the condition shld b better den welded one... since urs is already rusted, the weld wun hold, or rather, the rusted parts wun hold

There was Sharpey, Rocket, Vespa_ak, Hipp0, machine_k, moi and a surprise appearence by un-sith :lovestruck:

 

Pretty nice to just chat n catch up on vespa stuff. LOL and the food was pretty good actually, n nice big portion. Now i'm full! Phewz! :sweat:

 

Maybe we can go to the place 1st suggested by Sharpey during our next gathering! Over at seletar airport area there!

Yeah... was good meeting you all... Agree that we should all ride somewhere together next time... Convoy's are fun...

 

Un-Sith's scoot almost makes me like Auto bikes.... :thumb: but not quite .... Great paint work though...

 

 

Will have to see about the 17th Vigano... hopefully I'll be granted leave by the boss.

So Rae07... how's the Mambo mobile?? Has it become a childrens playground as many of us have feared??

 

You must come to the next meet... we neeeeeed to see your scooter up close and personal!

 

In other news....

 

My 2nd scooter is now taking pride of place (albeit in a few sections) in my spare room.... Taking it apart is fun... worrying about how the hell I'll be able to put it back together isn't.... Will post pics when I make some progress...

oh and I went to TongAik on Monday and auntie told me that there was a laid up sprint (square light AP I think) that was worth buying but needed a bit of body work... $1,800... tempting

If you want a newer scoot... there's Px200 disc brake (FU plate) for sale at Tong Aik (former colleague's...) S$2000 (just has a small dent in the engine side cowl...)

wah..$1800 is rather tempting too, but i made a promise to my present vespa to ride her for 2yrs, before changing to a more 'mature' one, i'd really like a real sprint... once i have deeper pockets

 

till now, i've only set aside enough for a new coat of paint and accessories.

 

is this colour nice?
