hmm.. might not be the meter problem but most prob is the cable problem connecting to the front wheel. you might wan to check whether it is loosen or not.

anyway anyone noes wats the problem when all ur lights are off? meaning headlight taillight and signal light all not working. coz yesterday after fixing my scoot till ok den today i take it out to test ride, all the lights are not working. how do i source the problem out now.

agreed... take it to a shop to be looked at... You may have just blown a fuse (which is a quick thing to replace ) but if you don't know why the problem arose in the first place its best to have your electrics looked over.

I sort of have an update about tubeless rims....

Basically from reading the Scootering review (available on Scootrs.com) its always going to be a beehatch to fit and change tyres on these rims.

I've also read that the Stainless rims aren't necessarily a good fix, as while they are stiffer, they are also more brittle meaning that they might suffer from metal fatigue after prolonged usage...

So, assuming that the mild steel coming out of Vietnam is likely to be of similar quality as that coming out of Indonesia, I'd stick with the Fabbri rims that we can currently get here...

We just have to note that the only way to get old tyres off them is to cut them off (hacksaw the rubber, and bigass bolt cutters for the bead)... and that fitting them requires great care, lots of lubrication and preferably a bead sealer (to seal the tyre bead to the rim)....

If you want to know why the tyres are so hard to fit... read the article... its due to the design of the rim (which can't be changed due to the size of the Vespa hub)...

I guess these are always going to be a compromise between convenience and safety...

Oh well.... shall tell TA not to bother with Vietnam, I doubt the quality will be considerably better... For sure the price will be higher though!

fixing requires a little grinding here and there... should be done in less than 40mins once you get your turn... May join you to have a chat with Mdm Soh
