juz came back from tong aik.. i left my scoot there. coz mr wee say got some stuff to check..

hmm.. normally when u all guys do a full servicing?

Posted

once every 5000km(or so) its good to change the oil...

2 or three times a year perhaps is ok for a full service... but this really depends on how often you ride... what 2T you use (cheap ones let carbon buildup much quicker) etc... It's also a good idea as you'll get to have a trained ear listen to your engine every now and then, and alert you of any issues... For the price I think its worth it...

waddup guys...just woke up....dunno why i'm so tired all of a sudden..

sharpey > so the tubeless rims from TA or Vietnam are all the same? I know ScootRS boasts of better quality rims and TA says don't bother trying to change the tyres on the tubeless rims they sell....so what's the verdict on this?

cheers cephelix...

basically I reckon the scootrs rims will still bend (read their discaimer) so we can assume that the Fabbri rims we get here are about as good... TA don't bother to change the tyres because removing them by any other way than cutting the old tyre off ruins the rim... if you can get the old tyre off.. installing a new one should be easy enough with their new machine....

crap.. mr wee called me and say my piston got a scratch... advise me to change but damn i'm in tight situation tis mth. can't change..

sharpey > I think it's recommended that you call first before going down...kos most of the vespa parts are exported if i'm not mistaken. So could we just ask mr wee to cut off the shinko tyres that come along with the rim and ask them to install battlax tyres immediately??? if you're down there, could you ask them? the auntie dismisses me at a lightning speed it's frightening....

ahqi > your scoot has an alloy block right???..to change i think it should cost ard $100+....ask mdm soh for the exact pricing....
