my engine is ok....but i think my crank and clutch are gonna go soon.....

thinking of switching to a cosa clutch....and i'll do the crank when i overhaul my engine.....

A "scratched" piston could mean anything from just soft seize marks to marks from a proper hard seize... You may have been able to save the old Piston... but then buying a new one means your engine will likely run better for longer...

SIP have some good pics... and some of the docs you need (click on the disk icon under the picture of the exhaust)...

 

The Scorpion is your only option... you might want to get the wide wheel version (which will sit further away from the rear wheel but prevent you from keeping your spare tyre) but to be honest, the pipe was desgined to sit close and low... its fine...

 

Otherwise you can buy a Sito+ and get away with it since it looks pratically the same stock....

oh.. and no need to take off the tyres that the fabbri rims come with.. they're actually pretty good.... see for yourself...

 

Wee won't be keen to remove the tyre for you.... but you can ask... its a big pain in the bum.... especially cutting the tyre bead without damaging the rim...

sharpey > my spare tyre sits infront...i have a sidebox remember??with alot of empty space underneath it... and the rims are a tie between tubeless rims or better grip...not so keen to go with the shinko tyres kos itsonfire almost skidded on them....and i dont plan on skidding anytime soon...versus a tyre blowout etc..so it's still a tie on the rim issue....

The tyres aren't shinko... they're chengshin... I've been riding on them for 10thousand kms give/take without any issues. Go and take a look at them... they aren't a bad tyre in my opinion...

kos i'm thiking that the ideal position would be pointed straight back and should be somewhere under my sidebox....
