Oh jets.... yeah, get a 130, a 132 and a 135.... jet down from 135... you might also want to get a 120 and a 140 air corrector and a BE4 mixer... just to give you options...

Head gaskets you can get made locally... Shenton Engineering in Kallang Ubi... like 7bucks for two copper gaskets or so....

You have a choice with the gaskets... you can either order a 1.5mm base gasket (to go under the cylinder---effectively raising it 1.5mm) or you can get some head gaskets instead... to create the extra space between the cylinder and the cylinder head instead... The difference is that the base gasket will give you more top speed, whereas the head gasket route will give you more torque... That's the theory at least... :)

no I mean.. his shop details are on the Vesporeanfaq wiki.... look under 'Singapore Scene"

Decided not to bother with the car horn... I reckon the stock DC horn on my PX is loud enough to get people's attention... The 6V horn you have sux though!

haha i know bout my sucky horn ....thot of changing it to the "bmw" horn....super cool.. but it's gonna be hard installing it on my systme thot.. most people i have ask say it's not possible to be install...but i wanna give it a try connecting it direct to the batt that links out to a switch... u think that is possible?

Posted

It is possible... Setup a DC system... just how will you charge that battery though?

You might want to consider changing the regulator on the scoot to a modern one that actually puts out full DC... check out http://www.trailtech.com... I'm putting one on my scoot soon... just waiting for a window of oportunity to spend some time with my tools and my Fatherinlaw :)

okay my scooter system is using the AC system (i supose or dynamo). if i would to setup a new set of wire to the present batt system that support the IU unit, and connect it directly to a new horn wif a regulator..will it work ?
