hmm no.. not intending to upgrade or to get another bike for the matter if i do sell bianca. erm it's complicated but the main reason is because of my parents :giddy: someone contacted me earlier regarding my bike..suddenly felt damn sad to sell la  want to sell yet i can't bear to..damn jialat..

Hey Fluff, I'm the one who contacted you earlier. :) Don't be sad k.. If i do decide to buy. You will be welcome to take it out for rides. I mean it.

I just spoke to hubby. And as expected he's strongly against it.. I really don't think i can convince him.. I'm now torn as to whether i should buy first then settle the quarrel later. :sian:

I'm losing sleep over this. :(

whoa gal..didn't expect you to lurk around in sbf  erm don't end up like me la..bought my bike without first consulting my parents, then got discovered shortly after purchasing my bike by my dad who flew into a rage and demanded i sell my bike. i ended up having to promise i would sell my bike and having to park..or rather, hide my bike at ah joos for about 2 months or so before i got really paisei and decided to park it at the playground near my hse..after riding in secret for a year, both my parents now know i ride in secret..end up have to sell also..and i can tell u..after riding my bike for a year, the attachment is really there loh..bleargh..

dun end up like me man..i much rather u work on gaining your hubby's approval first before buying a bike..think the chances are quite low though..if he is so against you riding now, it's not likely he will ever accept you riding..

oh well, all i can say is all the best to you in trying to gain hubby's approval ya..

You can minimise your chances of injury irorus... Wear a fullface helmet, gloves, airbag jacket (or armoured jacket) and good boots... This is what I wear every day... makes me, and those who love me, worry just a little bit less. Happy to advise... I also came from a family who always had the perception that riding=bad so I know how you must feel...

i don't know if i can ever give up riding completely man..think it's quite in my blood already  but if i do sell my bike, i won't be getting another ride for the foreseeable future la..not unless i move out :p

btw, your statement "u did ride before so its the experience that counts" was almost exactly what my dad told me la  :faint: he was like "wan wan yi xia, chang shi yi xia bu jiu ke yi le ma? zhe me ren zhen gan ma?" haha :faint:

i didn noe i sound like ur dad haha..

coz i thought it sound right and normally parents dun give in to the "riding is in my blood" reason.

basically what is change during the rewiring process?

rewiring....new wires etc....

las i heard TA does is for $165, but save $200 just in case..

there's wkmanship too...so u gotta account for that...
