Ford sales people all fighters lah! Most of them do very well at Audi. I'm now based at Ubi and won't be hanging out at Lengkee anymore. Give me a call if you're swinging by la!

>Sharpey, how was Kuba on the long flight? Did he enjoy himself? I'm hesitant to bring my boy for any flights as he's hyper active...nuclear powered i believe. Any tips to share for travelling with kiddos in tow?

Baby boy just slept the whole way... I think it was the sound of the engines... I recon your kid would be more of a handfull... Any time I've been flying near young kids I notice that parents are equipped with an ARESENAL of toys and books to keep them occupied! Mind you, the games on board should be ok for a short flight!

Guys, 1 question;

inner tubes ARE inner tubes ya? any diff if I get any brand?

or ( I'm feelin stupid already)

is there a better brand inner tube i should get?

What Brand & Price?

Posted

tong aik sells bridgestone inner tubes for $9 and a cheaper brand for $5...

they say the bridgestone inner tube is better kos it keeps its shape for longer...

but i have no idea what they mean...

yeah.. the bridgestones are made from thicker rubber... higher quality... Or that's what I've heard....

Change your tubes whenever you change your tyres....

Just a question, anyone out here feels that they have a storage problem riding their vespas? A Givi box was a must for me on my prev rides but I dun see how a givi box will work cosmetically on my chetak.

Posted

My next project actually does caters for more storage space. A bigger (indian) front glove box + modify the left side box into a compartment. Spare wheel will not be there. Am thinking of using tubeless for it.

James, how much to convert the left box?

Posted

Wow sounds interesting, can be indian glove box be bought at TA or something? sorry if its a dumb /? I work in Jakarta most of the time. The indian glovebox will be just nice for me since I'm riding the chetak.

Posted

wait, gremlin, you only have 35 post and your grouping isin SBF scooters, I have 333 and I am still Class 2B? WTF man.

Ok back to your question. I bought mine 2nd hand from TA, last I saw B4 hari raya TA have 1 more. It's (limited) unless someone brings in from India.

Posted

yeah pretty funny the way the system works. Think it works by how long you have been registered instead of how many posts you contribute.

Stopped riding for a while till recently when I had to work overseas and sold the car. Bought a chetak for a low maintenance ride when I come back every 3-6 months.
