dont think it is directly due to the 2 weeks start up....

previously while i am still on the 6V contact point system, i did not start for 3 weeks (cos i went to taiwan) and when i came back from taiwan after 3 weeks....i turn on the fuel tap, tilt it a little..one kick and my scoots sprang to life...

as mentioned my guess would be the plugs or the bulbs....

 

Also, as you seldom ride...pls remember to swtich off your fuel tap.....

that's the 'problem' with TA... or rather the auntie..

 

she always say the bikes (that are not really under their care) to be problematic or whatever... and if it's in a good running condition.. she will say its expensive!

 

in fact when i was lookin for a scoot then, the auntie keep telling me the cons of the scoots that she is selling, like engine no good...fork no good..blah blah, and how much i might need to spend to do it up... and how some of them are overpriced and such.

 

And that i should have came a bit earlier cos she just sold of some scoots that are very worth the money... yada-yada...

 

but that's the fun about doing business with her..haha!

machine_k - the auntie is super entertaining lar. i laugh at her backstabbing antics in her face all the time but she pretends not to hear me and just goes on and on. then i just laugh and laugh haha. it's crazy

yeah...the TA auntie tells me stories after stories... i also don't know where to cut her... but she's not all wrong when it comes to prices of the vespas nowadays... fetch better price than a few years back.

 

So she probably still haven't come to terms how much people value the scoots now

yeah, backfire v loud. sure to catch attention. but i think you should change your plug and check your electricals. Shouldn't take you so many kicks to start it. Ask AJ to take a look (proper look).. ask him "check properly, don't lazy"..

whooo mr bean's car! i like! haha yar need to go down to ah joo's more often and ask him more questions uncle why my bike becoming so problematic?! that time my bike's brake lining got worn out. that was about 1 or 2 months after i got my bike. i asked ah joo "ehh my bike still under guarantee right uncle?" haha he was like "ehh yar la FOC replacement for you la" haha this time can not use the same trick already.

 

machine_k - someone bumped my sidebox. a chunk of paint is gone, right down to the metal. so need to get it resprayed.

it is a oldies...cant survive in singapore...too slow....i think my car cant survive in melbourne or sidney too!!! just in adelaide...

i use it for marketing and driving round the city only
