A friend who lives in batu pahat say there's lots of durian farms in a place call minyak beku. Its about 10km from BP town & very near sea side.

 

But my friend say now not yet durian season, must wait another month. I think Segamat maybe also same , not durian season yet.

Ha ha .. that's how life should be....enjoyed. I already missing my bike and am thinking of getting one again. I do most of my travelling by car cos too old to tahan the long rides, but still love riding. Am actually thinking of getting something more classic, like the CB400 Four but hard to find one at a reasonable price. Enjoy your ride.

definitely must go malacca again soon. So many destinations , so little time. But Malacca is such a nice, easy & relax destination. Can spend the whole day finding nice food & chilling out. Will put this place on top priority.

 

Lawrence is going for a durian hunt in segamat next sat. 2 weeks later in early july, thot of organising a trip to malacca.

 

Last thursday jb recce was cancel due to last minute work commitment. This coming Monday will try again, subjected to weather forecast at 4.30pm

awesome place, really must go there also. Too bad Lawrence going segamat durian trip on 23June, otherwise would hv organise on 23june to malacca.

 

I think he got saturday class on 30june, no class on 7 july (his classes are alternate weekends). So 7 july is the big day for another trip. I suggest we visit this fruit farm & also malacca town makansutra.

My dream is to fly but i think the micro-light pilot training very expensive; more than S$1.5k for the whole course.

Only been to Kg. Pendas, not much of a view from there. Please let me know when are you all going for the recce!

 

Too bad you can't join us last nite. Ones_co & me went to the seafood place opp Danga bay, scenery not so nice; not as good as Lam seafood scenery during sunset. Then discovered tire punctured while walking back from the restaurant. Spent half hour to figure out how to repair tire for first time. Using the LAB tire repair kit & CO2 cartridges - they really works!!!

 

Then after that went towards Kg Pendas, pass by Yeo Seafood place on stilts. Ate fried noodles there & chill out for a while. The scenery & ambience seem very nice - good enough to invite SBF riders there in future.

actually we didn't reach Kg Pendas. Halfway we saw this Yeo Seafood signboard & we go inside & eat. But next week we plan to go there Kg Pendas & the Gelang petah flying school & also the seafront facing Spore Sarimbun.

 

Didn't took pics of Yeo Seafood coz too late & dark. That place must go only during sunset, but very clean & nice.

 

This recce trip is very fun & interesting; somewhat like treasure hunt.

 

The Danga bay opp seafood restaurant pics is below - most of the pic not nice so i never post. But the journey going there is fun & nice scenery, pass by a small strip of land surrounded by left & right seawater, towards the small island where the restaurant is. And also pass by a kampung also, with children waving at us & chickens running around
