after last nite brainstorming session with bornfree & ones_co, we feel that re-visiting Pengayabong; especially the secret lagoon is the best choice. We also considering exploring the big lake next to Pengyabong & spend more time in pengyabong itself chilling out.

Surprisingly, Bornfree said he already visited that secret lagoon, walked across the sand bank to the other side which is a small island. It was low tide & there were hundreds of tiny crabs swarming the bottom of the lagoon.

I could imagine the beauty of the scenery.

I found the contacts of some durain plantation owners in a guide book. Attached is the scanned page for your reference. Ones_co, it would be a fruitful trip to Segamat if you have these contacts earlier. :cheeky:

after studying yr attachment 's pontian durian farm map, i think i know the GPS coordinates of the durian farm in pontian. Malsing map already got the Point-Of-Interest there. Looks like its a near & easy place to access.

last nite at the place facing spore 's area D or Sarimbun, can see the whole sea coast is fenced up, coz its military ground. Got kampung & school & malaysia military base camp at the end of that road. A guy there told us not to take pic coz the military base maybe got someone watching us with binoculars. Scenery quite nice, but lose to Lam Seafood 's sunset view. But the road, about 3km is very poor condition, got to travel at 1st or 2nd gear most of the time. Can skid easily on the gravels if not careful. Not advisable to go there alone.

After that ate dinner in Gelang petah. Almost want to buy durian & eat at the coffee shop where we ate dinner. Seems that in Jb , durian season is back.

Givi 52L built quality is much better than the 48L; maybe from different country. Somemore 52L can put 5-6 mid size durian easily :D
