Yes, frm the start of Bol d'Or in '05, there's the normal Silver, Black, Red-White & Blue-White.

Which insurance co did u all get from and how much is 3rd party fire n theft?

Shop recommended me for rear tyre, can use either size 150 or 160.

If your riding style not so sporty, can go for 150/70 profile. If corner siao like me, 160/60 also not enough.

M not exactly into cornering, but it seems that 160/60 is way cheaper than 150/70.

 

I think based on the sticker that is fixed to the bike, the standard rear tyre should be 150/70.

I'm currently have a pair fitted, great tyre... but it do wear out a little faster...

 

Fitting back in April this year for touring.... up north and back a couple of times.... Great handing even in the wets...

cos i think Unique only has 160 sizes left. But i thought the recommended tyre based on the sticker pasted near the rear tyre says 170...

For Model from ~ 05 - 07

 

Front : 120/70 ZR17

Back : 160/50 ZR17

 

I personally would recommend to follow straightly to the Specification...... due to "Insurance Cause". :D

I changed tyres to M5 with the standard sizes above. $299 at UM.

 

Changed chain and sprockets too. $280.

 

Decided to stick to 15T cos i looked around at the shop, and i think somehow 16T is meant for 600 cc and above bikes. But i reduced rear to 42T.

hey guys im planning to get myself a bol dor, 2005 model FZ plate. what are the pros and cons on this bike? hope you guys can share as i've already made my half payment.

Well.... I don't know about the cons... having down graded from large tourers to my current Boldor... Never had I ever regretted my purchase.

 

Been up north many times as far as Ranong & Southern BangKok... Enjoyed every min of it... ;)

 

Go over to FACEBOOK, and do look me up under G..... T.. Stoner. and you could view some of my pass trips...
