After my trip from the mech, he said it will be ok to use in Singapore riding but beyond (longer distances) will be a concern unless I carry spare EO with me on riding and pump additional fuel as you can't tell whether the bike is out of fuel on a Phantom if u don't keep close track of the mileage.

 

I'll be doing some short rides(200km) via the 2nd link @ constant speed and see how my TA200 holds up.

no problems.

 

for ta200, long trip generally ok.

but it's common/usual for ta200 to "eat" engine oil.

 

so maybe, every rest stops, can check your engine oil level and top up as required. shouldn't have any major problems.

 

also if possible, flush your radiator and change your coolant.

i realised using a good coolant like waterwetter lowers my temps very fast and keep it very stable when i am cruising.

Next mth...12th and 13th Jan '08. Will be goin to Putrajaya-By pass Sungei Besi Toll-Genting-KL-Muar (friends Kampung). Genting is just a stopover for picture taking and lunch. No worries about my cap as I have already changed it.

It was a learning lesson I had to paid for...hehehe.

Anyway I was amazed how Mr Barnes could master the strength to break my fuel cap..after all I thought he was just an uncle...just joking.

Anyway, I will message u on the time and place to pass u your tools mr Barnes.
