Headlight doesn't start when starting engine

This happens only occasionally. The headlight doesn't start despite starting the engine. I would have to press the e-start for the second time for it to light up. Is this normal?

either ur headlight is gonna blow or ur starter switch faulty.

 

try lubricating ur starter switch 1st.

its abnormal... if u can, open up the starter switch assy and use contact cleaner with fine sand paper to sand off the oxide on the copper plates of contact... think this should solve ur problem.

try out s4vtec sugggestion, i face the same problem before... for short cut just spray wd40 or contact cleaner into the starter switch.. in due of carbonator..

its on the right side of ur handle bar where u press the switch to start ur bike... under side of it, there are 2 screws... unscrew them and u can see the internal of the switch assy, look for the copper contact plates for the starter switch and use contact cleaner with fine sand paper to sand off the oxide on it...

Nope, everything on my handlebar is stock, including the handlebar itself

hi i got this problem also , when start bike the head light no working is because the start up switch is stuck halfway . try put some W4D and u will be alright
